freddie prinze jr is all that
Review of She's All That (Wide Screen) by
carly_2001
Advantages: freddie is so fine!!!
Disadvantages: some gross bits!!
...i went to see this film a couple of years ago at the cinema with my friends and we all agreed we have never seen such a funny film which is also romantic.
freddie prinze jr (zack) and rachel leigh cook (laney) are typical high school students. one very popular (zack) the other a bit of a geek (laney)!!
after the summer break zack returns to school to find that his girl friend has found a new man. zack is gutted by this news and his mates make a bet with him, the bet is that he has to turn the most unpopular girl in school into the prom queen and he only has 6 weeks to make this transformation.
laney boggs- unpopular girl who loves art and has never been kissed or had a boyfriend, her mother died when she was young and she lives with her brother and father. future prom queen?? i dont think so, but zack does!!
the story shows how...

Shes All That
Review of She's All That DVD by
Toady
Advantages: A Great Storyline
Disadvantages: none
...I brought this video without even seeing it and it turn out to be an excellent film, especially if you like comedy with a bit of romance. This film will make the girls get teary at times so get those tissues ready. I brought it for £12.99 in Tesco's.
For those of you who haven't seen this film it's about a guy called Zack (freddie Prince Jnr) who's dating Taylor the prettiest girl in school and he gets told by her that she's dumping him for some other guy called Brock Hudson who's a star in the show The Real World, he's a very strange kind of guy. Zack is class president and captain of the school soccer team and it dosen't look good for him to be seen with anyone else apart from Taylor the prettiest girl in school, especially when prom night is just around the cornor. Zack bets with his best mate Dean that he can have any girl...

For all those who were unpopular at school
Review of She's All That (Wide Screen) by
kgray71
Advantages: Easy to watch
Disadvantages: Stereotyped characters
...Who was the geek at school? Who dreamed of waking up and being the most popular girl in school? I know I did, I never had the people skills the cool kids did. That's is what She's All That is about a girl who is a geek and transforms into the coolest girl in school.
The Plot
=
Zack has it all, good looks, cool style, smart and the beautiful girlfriend, Taylor until she dumps him after spring break for Brock Hudson from MTV's The Real World.
Zack suggests to his friend Dean that Taylor is replaceable. Any girl given the right look and right boyfriend can beat Taylor. A bet is made and Laney is picked to be the lucky girl.
Laney is an artist who has no style; she wears thick glasses, long dark brown hair and dresses in hippy type clothes. Laney cannot understand why Zack is so interested in her but like any girl gives Zack...

Saved by the bell: The best of???
Review of Saved By The Bell - Vol. 1 - Three Classic Episodes DVD by
sjc1985
Advantages: 3 classic, easy episodes! Easy watching!
Disadvantages: Not really the best episodes that could have been picked.
...This dvd is supposed to comprise of 3 classic and \"best\" episodes of Saved by the bell. Whilst it does contain 3 classic episodes, they are not neccesarily the best! They have the first, the last and the last episode of the college years, which in my opinion was a major bonus!
EPISODE 1: DANCING IN THE DARK
This was the first ever episode of saved by the bell! Here we meet all the characters and the amazing cast. Zack and Slater are rivals to be Kelly\'s dance partner, though Zack confesses to Jessie that he hasn\'t really got the moves and she offers to coach him. When Kelly finally chooses Slater, Zack asks Jessie to partner him, while the nerdy Screech pleads to team up with Lisa, even with her sprained ankle.
EPISODE 2: GRADUATION DAY
This is the last episode of the original class of saved by the bell! Zack is going to miss out...

Ferris Beuller meet Zack Morris
Review of Saved By The Bell by
jaygami1986
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing
...interesting real storylines. The results lead to Saved by The bell, which was reformed from the original show.
The new revamped and improved show followed the lives of Zack Morris, Lisa, Screech, Mr Belding and three new characters by the names of Kelly, Jessie and A.C. Slater. The show followed the lives of these students at Bayside High School in California. The show became a huge success and launched the careers of each of the characters, with the central character Zack Morris becoming hugely popular. The show was liked by many teenagers and critics alike for the compelling storylines which dealt the “Real Teen Issues”. The show focused on many crucial issues which affect students during high school such as drink driving, love, drugs, family problems, financial problems and most importantly friendship. The show focused on the importance...

One...Singular Sensation...
Review of A Chorus Line (Wide Screen) by
staceyvm
Advantages: A Broadway classic brought to the screen
Disadvantages: Not sure Michael Douglas was the right choice
...as it should have been, but that certainly doesn't make it bad.
----------------
SYNOPSIS
----------------
The movie opens on the Great White Way and focuses on a theatre. The theatre is holding an open audition for the next show being directed/chreographed by hot young thing Zack (Michael Douglas). The audition is already in full swing as many young hopefuls are already leaving the theatre.
Cut to a taxi speeding through the city - we don't know who's inside yet.
Back to the theatre, the audition continues and the action intercuts again to the taxi and the audition.
After a while, the first cut has been made, so all of the selected dancers now come back to the stage to perform the combination in unison. As they finish, we see who was in the taxi - it's Cassie (Alyson Reed), Zack's old girlfriend, who's come back looking for a job. Zack...

Pass the tissues.....
Review of An Officer And A Gentleman DVD by
fizzytom
Advantages: Great performances, an unbeatable romance
Disadvantages: Rather predictable but who cares. it's not a thriller!
...For a long while I had the impression that "An Officer and a Gentleman" was a very cheesy film, the sort of film, in fact, that is the preference of Mills and Boon readers. Of course, I hadn't watched it at that point. Since my opinion of a film I hadn't seen was so strong it's surprising that something happened to make me watch it and to this day I can't remember what it was that spurred me to watch it, but I did. Having done so my opinion of the film is no less determined than before but it is now a film that I cannot praise highly enough.
Richard Gere plays Zack Mayo, recently graduated from college and newly enrolled in the American Naval Officers Candidate School. Zack has had a tough life, his mother committed suicide when he was young and he then spent his life with his abusive, alcoholic father. Zack doesn't find his 14 weeks...

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core - Blimey!
Review of Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII (PSP) by
JWarner88
Advantages: Thoroughly enjoyable game.
Disadvantages: The script is too American influenced - the diction, spelling and pronunciation
...In the beginning, there was Final Fantasy VII. To commemorate the games' Tenth Anniversary, Square Enix has released yet another addition to the Final Fantasy VII series, making Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core the fourth in the compilation. Crisis Core is the prequel to the original, and the game mainly focuses on the familiar character (for those of you that have played the original game) of Zack Fair, a SOLDIER 2nd class. It is only available for the Playstation Portable Console and is a must have for RPG fans and owners of a PSP!
Crisis Core is the story leading up to the events prior to the start of Final Fantasy VII. There are many familiar characters Zack meets through his story such as Aerith Gainsborough, Cloud Strife and Sephiroth. The designers have also developed some scenes to induce nostalgia in those die-hard Final Fantasy...

BREAKING VOICES & DOOMED CAREERS
Review of Saved By The Bell by
Ryan74
Advantages: Top theme tune, funny on times
Disadvantages: 2-D characters, Screech
...That opening theme tune! How it used to wake me out of my slumber in the mornings on Saturday/Sunday/weekday/whatever day they used to put it out on. Yes folks, its ‘Saved By The Bell’, the classic American kids TV show which completely re-defined the genre and set a template for all future kids/teen high school comedies, setting a bar so high that it has rarely been matched. Ain’t nostalgia great?
The basic premise of ‘Saved By The Bell’ was this. There’s this place called Bayside, which doesn’t really exist, and there is a Bayside High School, again completely fictitious. ‘Saved By The Bell’ deals with the fun and frolics of six high school students, Zack, Slater, Screech, Jessie, Kelly and Lisa, as well as their good old headteacher Mr. Belding. The show ran from 1989-1993, a surprisingly short run, although the screens have been...

The Adventures of Zackman
Review of Saved By The Bell by
goldenbabe
Advantages: Funny and interesting episode plots
Disadvantages: Screech is so very irritating
...Saved By The Bell is one of my favourite television shows, because it is humorous and interesting in topical terms.
It stars Zack Morris, the king of pranks and plans, and his friends Kelly Kapowski and Lisa Turtle who are cheerleaders for the school's football team; A. C. Slater who plays for the football team; Jessie Spano, who is a campaigner against sexism, and Screech Powers who is, truthfully speaking, an official nerd. And, if you can count him as a friend, Mr Belding the headmaster who Zack can wrap around his little finger.
My favourite characters are Kelly and Mr Belding, because Kelly is sympathetic and friendly, and Mr Belding is funny and a bit soft!
My favourite episodes are the beach epsiodes where the five friends have jobs at Malibu Sands Beach Club. This is because the manager of the club is very strict and Zack...
