Zanussi slimline dishwasher - super sleek
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZSF4112 by
iloveshoping
Advantages: Silver, cheap, excellent cleaning
Disadvantages: none
...finished i was amazed at how clean my dishes were. everyhting was so gleaming and clean. It had dried completely. The thing to amaze me was glasses and cutlery, it was so clean i could not belive it.
It is very easy to clean, after each wash under the bottom tray is a round trap to catch any food/bits which you twist off and empty into the bin and pop back in, thats it!
I would recommend this dishwasher, not only very good value for money, but excellent results. I would be buying zanussi products again...

Zanussi-Electrolux ZSF4143S slimline dishwasher
Review of Zanussi ZSF4143 by
jim25glen
Advantages: Slimline, quiet, with a delay start facility
Disadvantages: Significant extra cost for silver finish and limited range of programmes
...When it has to be slimline (to fit the gap) and silver (to suit the rest of the kitchen appliances), the choice reduces dramatically, especially if you're not prepared to pay a fortune - does a silver-effect finish really have to be so much more expensive?
I've had Zanussi appliances before, and always found them to be very reliable, so the ZSF4143S seemed an obvious choice, and it certainly hasn't disappointed so far. It has a fairly restricted range of programmes - intensive, normal, quick wash, economy and rinse hold. The delay start (with 3, 6 or 9 hour delay options) seemed an excellent idea, but in fact it's so quiet (unlike its predecessor!) that it hardly seems necessary to delay the start until the morning when going to bed at night. It's perhaps not as spacious as some slimline dishwashers, but it still holds more than...

A cool white tardis from Zanussi
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZNB343W by
J----
Advantages: Massive capacity, quiet and efficient
Disadvantages: doesn't have fast freeze
...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W.
The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase.
The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. The frost free freezing system stops ice building up inside the compartment so that you don’t have to defrost the freezer. It also means that ice doesn’t take up space...

Zanussi dishwasher does what it says on the tin
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZDT6255 by
sadoldbag
Advantages: Looks great, washes well, roomy bottom tray, "A" rating for efficiency
Disadvantages: Expensive, low on gadgets, bit noisy
...I have had this dishwasher for 6 months without any problems. It is an integrated one, so looks great in the kitchen as you cant tell it's there! The controls are all on the edge of the door - so you really don't see it's a dishwasher if it's closed.
It has 5 different settings, though to be honest I tend always to use the 65 degree "normal" one. I have used the eco one (50 degrees) from time to time, but not the quick wash.
The top basket is adjustable and loads of my very large things which didn't go in my old dishwasher do go in the bottom of this one, so that's great. It is easy to stack sensibly, and easy to unload. It does clean well - I don't get food places I shouldn't. It has the usual thing at the bottom you pull out to clean that collects bits of food residue and that's easy to remove and clean and put back. It has...

ZNB4051 Dont disappoint us Zanussi...
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZNB 4051 by
pizza-the-action
Advantages: Huge capacity and VERY quiet.
Disadvantages: Door storage not so good for such a tall applance
...We bought this item a month ago (Feb 07) to replace our Siemens-Bosch appliance as it has one of the largest capacities than most fridge-freezers without going for a full width side-by-side American style unit.
Our first choice was to buy another Bosch as we currently have a dishwasher and washing machine made by them, but the similarly sized (and priced) unit had a smaller interior cubic capacity than the Zanussi.
It was ordered from the Co-op online as they offered a fast delivery service (2 days) which suited us fine. Bearing in mind I could have bought this ZNB4051 from where I work, I opted for the Co-op rather than wait the 10 days my employer was quoting..
They promised to e/mail the day before confirming am or pm delivery which they duly did. The delivery guys were excellent and removed all the packaging from our...

my first dishwasher
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux DE6850 by
fbaggy
Advantages: quiet
Disadvantages: my dishes are too big to fit int he bottom tray
...I have wanted a dishwasher for so long but my kitchen was totally impratical so I redesigned my kitchen.
I bought this model because it looked just like my zanussi washing machine (down to the orange buttons).
I was disapointed when it arrived because they had redisgned it and it now came with silver buttons but that was no big problem.
The next niggle was that my dinner plates were too big to fit into the bottom of the dishwasher unless i moved the top part up (which then left less room in the top part). But again its something you get used too and I dont believe any other dishwasher would accomodate these plates either.
The last niggle is that the plate racks dont fold down. This can make it awkward when filling the machine with lots of pans.
Apart from the above it is fantastic and all I dreamed about.
It is very very quiet. So...

Kenwood KDW243A Integrated Dishwasher
Review of Kenwood KDW243A by
adictivepie
Advantages: Triple A rated, 7 Programs, Cheap
Disadvantages: Limited top basket see review
...I purchased the item then read reviews on other websites.
At this point i was regreating the purchase as it sounded to be a bad integrated dishwasher well most reviews i read about the ones i liked were bad. comments were complaining it was small inside and wine glasses did not fit in and that if you had large dinner plates the top washer arm got caught so it did not clean the top basket.
I felt sick inside reading review after review thinking what have i done should have replaced my Zanussi DA6141 with the Zanussi ZDW 321 which was £269.99 at currys.
Well if youve seen the bad reviews read on as you may well be pleasently surprised
Our Zanussi dishwasher stopped working after 3 years, it stopped taking in water , the appliance of science was dead, My dad looked at it and it could have been the control board which failed, fixing...

No more Dishpan Hands
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZDT 5053 by
TheHairyGodmother
Advantages: Quiet, 5 different wash cycles, efficient
Disadvantages: None
...so anything would have been better than that banged out old banger. I came home a couple of days later to find that a Zanussi ZDT 5053 had been plumbed in.
My initial impressions were that it looked very smart, although considering this was brand spanking new, and considering that the old one was covered in the remnants of five years worth of takeaways and grease, it was undoubtedly going to look better.
With our old dishwasher we used to have a big problem with things coming out of it after being washed and they would still be dirty. I'm not talking greasy saucepans but even sometimes coffee cups and dinner plates would come out still dirty and have to be either put back in or washed by hand. So far so good with the Zanussi, everything comes out sparkling clean first time.
The Zanussi ZDT 5053 is relatively quiet in operation...

DISHWASHER THAT ONLY WASHES SOMETIMES
Review of Whirlpool ADP5740 by
ANNJSEC
Advantages: Dependable
Disadvantages: Doesn't get dishes and cutlery sparkling
...I've now had a Phillips Whirlpool for some 3/4 years and whilst it hasn't broken down (touch wood) I'm afraid it doesn't get my dishes as sparkling clean as I would like.
My model cost in the region of £600. I wasn't on the internet when I purchased it and I must admit I was amazed at the savings that could be made purchasing electrical equipment in this way.
Perhaps I was spoiled by my last dishwasher, a Zanussi slimline which unfortunately I had to leave in my previous property when selling the house. This really was amazing. Dishes came out absolutely sparkling with no residue food and even the dirtiest pans came out clean without any prior rinsing from me.
To be fair, the problem could be that the Whirlpool is a bigger dishwasher and it takes longer to fill it with dishes than the Zanussi slimline, but I do rinse...

NO APPLIANCE FROM THEIR SCIENCE
Review of Zanussi ZX99/5SI Frost Free (Silver) Fridge Freezer by
zlatiko
Advantages: Large, quiet, good use of space,
Disadvantages: Its failed three times since its been hot,
...to get me an earlier slot of which i am still not happy with but will have to make do at the moment of Wednesday, do these companies think that every house hold has back -up fridges and back-up freezers stored under the stairs in case of emergencies? The weather is hot, we have no fresh food in the house as we have nowhere to store it and i am getting very very irate with a substandard product and below par-service that Zanussi has so far provided me with.
The customer service department have previously made an error when the dishwasher broke they sent out a "washing machine specialist" to fix the problem, he knew ZERO about dishwashers and i had to wait another week for the correct engineer to arrive so i am not holding my breath until this one arrives, oh, thats another thing, their calling times are only AM or PM so you have to wait...
