Zanussi Triumph Again
Review of Zanussi Condenser 7124w Dryer by
GavMan
Advantages: Drum capacity, programmes,
Disadvantages: It doesn't do the ironing
...After recently replacing my very unreliable Indesit washing machine with the very efficient Zanussi FDJ1666W, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be in the unfortunate position to have to replace my tumble dryer.
However, as fate would have it, my 18 year old full-size Hotpoint, which had been passed through 2 family members, decided to stop tumbling and exhale short bursts of cold air. I was stunned. But there again, there was no shame to my Hotpoint. So I decided to pay another visit to Curry’s.
Once again, like I did with my washing machine, my first port of call was my darling Ciao. I must admit, I didn’t look at a lot of the reviews for other brands, as I had virtually decided to buy a Zanussi dryer, as I was so impressed by their washing machines that I thought their tumble dryers would be just as good...

Zanussi condenser dryer TCE 7124W
Review of Zanussi Condenser 7124w Dryer by
pjw28
Advantages: Reliable and easy to use
Disadvantages: None to date
...Excellent. I have had it for 3.5 years and it is still going strong with no problems to date. I was recommended Zanussi by a family member and having bought all of my kitchen appliances at the same time, I wish I had chosen Zanussi for the other appliances as I have needed parts replacing on my other products recently. I find it very easy to use and tend to stick to the same programme for all my drying. The water is easy to empty. I have found that occasionally when I replace the empty water collector and continue the drying it will beep as it thinks it is still full, however with a quick wiggle of the water bottle it is fine. The fluff is easy to empty also. I have found it looks after my clothes well as I have dried a few items which advise not to and they have come out fine....

Zanussi Condenser Tumble Dryer TCE 7277W
Review of Zanussi TCE7227W by
findlesuk
Advantages: Low noise level, easy to empty water container, energy efficiency
Disadvantages: Makes my washing machine look ancient!
...My Hotpoint tumble dryer gave up the ghost after 3 years & was not economical to repair!!
Ciao gave me some ideas from reviews and I short listed several makes/models including a Zanussi - a make that I have never bought before as I was put off by the name (don't ask me why, the name never appealed!)
My sister who is EXTREMELY fussy about everything has always had Zanussi white goods & raves over them so this time I allowed myself to look at them & glad I did!
I saw the review for the Zanussi TCE7124W & decided that was the one for me, on average about £250.shame no one had it in stock!
Then I was told it had been replaced by the TCE7227W & at £299-00.………OK £50 above budget but I researched it anyway & everywhere I read about it it came up glowingly! So I opted for this Zanussi TCE7227W, a large 7kg Condenser dryer...

Zanussi Tumble Dryer: ZDE46130W
Review of Zanussi ZDC 46130 by
misseskimo
Advantages: Easy to use, easy to clean filters
Disadvantages: End of programme and water tank full alarm can drive you a bit crazy!
...I bought this last year whilst renovating my new flat. I hadn't had a tumble dryer before and so although I wanted a cheap machine for the few times I would use it, I also wanted to get a good machine that I could stick in the cupboard out of the way.
I find this Zanussi tumble dryer very easy to use, all I have to do is put the clothes in, scroll the control knob to the time that I want and press Start! It also has the option to say that their delicates or synthetics but I don't normally use these as I mainly use the dryer for my towels and bed sheets, or in winter when I finish off a load from the line.
I don't personally find this a problem, but my partner always says that it's hard to empty the water tank at the bottom of the machine, as it's very low down and you have to bend down and unclip something to get the tank out... He...

Zanussi Washer Dryer - Brilliant
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZWD 12270 by
muppetmum
Advantages: Easy to use, quick washing cycle
Disadvantages: None
...When our old washer/dryer brokedown we were keen to replace it with another one, but my previous make was no longer available; the
Zanussi Washer Dryer ZWD12270W seemed to be the best match for our requirements. It was a reasonable price in the category and supplied the same amount of drying space.
I did some internet reseach and found the best deal at currys.co.uk. The machine is £279.99 plus £19.95 delivery & collection of old one.
Another trawl of the internet found that I could get free delivery with the code AWSALEDEL and then got 1% cash back by going through the greasypalm website to do the purchase.
The statisics are :-
# Wash and dry in one machine - a great space saver.
# Wash load capacity - 6kg
# Drying load capacity - 3kg
# Ratings - C Energy A Wash B Dry
# Wash controls - Variable spin & temperature...

Dryer than a Biscuit.
Review of Zanussi TD4212 REV by
Mattayre1981
Advantages: Does exactly what it should do, and does it very well.
Disadvantages: Not found any yet.
...I was open minded regarding the make. I was interested in this dryer initially on its very plain and well finished looks, then after messing around with it for a while realised that it was much sturdier and well constructed than most in the shop.
The door on this thing is HUGE and opens out to 140 degrees (according to Zanussi) so now I can drop an entire wash load (MAX 5Kg)into the dryer in one go instead of a few things at a time through a poky door . Another advantage I can see with the door is, unlike most dryers having a handle to pull which releases a latch, which can be delicate and temperamental, this door opens by pressing one side to make it spring open, so hopefully it wont need replacing like the Creda's did (TWICE!).
The dryer has a great filtration system, using a very large easily removable filter built into the door...

A cool white tardis from Zanussi
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZNB343W by
J----
Advantages: Massive capacity, quiet and efficient
Disadvantages: doesn't have fast freeze
...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W.
The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase.
The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. The frost free freezing system stops ice building up inside the compartment so that you don’t have to defrost the freezer. It also means that ice doesn’t take up space...

Zanussi, the appliance of science.
Review of Zanussi ZWD1270 by
voyagerdude220
Advantages: Sooooo quiet, even when spinning at the full 1200 rpm. Countdown timer. Variable Temperature & Spin options. Handwash programme. Uses far less water than previous machine. Cold fill only... The list goes on!
Disadvantages: Longer programme times, but can be reduced using Extra Quick option.
...On Last Wednesday 28th September, my kitchen was changed. The 7-year-old Hotpoint washer dryer has now been replaced by a fantastically modern, mid-range Zanussi ZWD1270W washer dryer. Even though the machine was around £350, what I have received is a machine that is worth every single penny we paid for it.
EXTERIOR:
When looking at the machine, you can see the drawer in the top left-hand corner. This is split up into three sections- The pre-wash section is the furthest to the left, the Main Wash section is in the middle, and the conditioner part situated at the very right of the drawer. One thing I have noticed, which is great, is that the drawer has several water holes at the top, more visible when the actual container has been taken out.
If you need to take the drawer out for cleaning, you simply press a button...

Well Done Zanussi !!!!
Review of Zanussi ZWF 14581 by
wardc
Advantages: Superb results, Excelent value
Disadvantages: Extended manufacturer warranty costly...shop around
...First of all thankyou in advance for reading this, my second review. Hopefully it will be of some use to anyone interested in purchasing one of these machines or just as a comparison. I will try and cover the main features of the washer and explain how I have found them in terms of performance.
When purchasing any product like this manufacturers tend to claim that their product is far better than the competitions. Being inquisitive and to have a better understanding, I tend to try and find out why it is better and how the results are archived.
Zanussi's claim to fame is their "Unique Jet System" as this is the main selling feature I took the time to find out what it does and how it does it, rather than just being a term in a brochure. I also find asking these type of questions highlights how much or little the sales team know...

Great zanussi dryer
Review of Zanussi TC485W by
isaac1
Advantages: Has three temperature settings
Disadvantages: None
...If you are looking a good dryer at a reasonable price, then I would recommend this machine.
I chose the condensor because I did not want the pipe hanging out the window, like my last machine.
The price I paid over a year ago was £260 out of Argos.
The machine collects the water in a pull out container at the front of the bottom of the machine, which you just empty and put back in.
The machine has reverse tumble action and a roll timer to choose the length of programme up to 140 mins . The last 10 minute is cool air to cool the clothes down.
The machine has three push buttons to choose the temp, for delicates, synthetics and cottons. In other words low, medium and hot drying.
I find it very useful to have the three choices of temp. The machine dries very well and is not to noisy.
Overall, I am very pleased with the machine...
