...As we could never decide whose turn it was to do the washing up we decided that in order to save our marriage that we needed a dishwasher. So of we set to do the rounds of the shops, with notebook and pen to find the cheapest but most efficient dishwasher. The other problem that we had was our kitchen is very small and narrow so we needed a machine that would fit into a very small area. We found the Zanussi DW-24 in our local Curry's and where instantly sold on it, the sales assistant was very knowledgeable and persuaded us that this was an excellent choice of machine. The machine cost £195 and came with a free sample of finish dishwasher tabs and rinse aid. ...The DW 5002 double pedal is in my opinion, the best double bass pedal currently available on the market. It effortlessly delivers speed, as well as power, resulting in a phantasmagorical bass drum experience. I was considering buying the DW9000, I am however totally satisfied with the DW 5002, as it hasn't yet let me down in any situation. It's the little things that make this bass drum pedal such a joy to perform with. The extra beater slot on the left foot pedal for instance, is an amazing step forward in the bass pedal world. As i now have two bass drums, I was extremely glad not to have to fork out another lump of cash for another single pedal. In short, this pedal does it all, Blast beats are made effortless, and technical double taps can happen at will. I reccomend to all drummers, regardless of skill level.... Read review

...The DW001 Dishwasher from Phoenix has got to be one of the smallest available on the market today, perfect for the small family of two living together for the first time or maybe a family of three which is what I am part of. It is pretty much a cube of around half a metre eac h way. It is 54cm (22inches) in height which makes it a really handy and rather cute size that is easy to fit onto worktops if you have the space. The front has simply got the open/ close latch on and the controls. The opening latch is safety locked so the dishwasher stops if it detects that it has been open, unfortunately if this is half way through you may still find that water goes everywhere. It has a drying function if you do not wish to leave your washing up out to dry. It has a pull out tray with nicely sectioned off parts of each type of washing up, only... Read review

...Ever since I can remember, I've hated washing pots. It's just one of those awful jobs which just has to be done. For years, I have yearned for a dishwasher. However, not having the room in my last house, I made it my priority that when we moved house, no matter what the kitchen was like, we MUST have a dishwasher! Still not having a great deal of room in my present kitchen, a few months ago, I opted for the Zanussa DW-24 Slimline Dishwasher. Oh, what bliss!!! ...First of all thankyou in advance for reading this, my second review. Hopefully it will be of some use to anyone interested in purchasing one of these machines or just as a comparison. I will try and cover the main features of the washer and explain how I have found them in terms of performance. When purchasing any product like this manufacturers tend to claim that their product is far better than the competitions. Being inquisitive and to have a better understanding, I tend to try and find out why it is better and how the results are archived. Zanussi's claim to fame is their "Unique Jet System" as this is the main selling feature I took the time to find out what it does and how it does it, rather than just being a term in a brochure. ...After recently replacing my very unreliable Indesit washing machine with the very efficient Zanussi FDJ1666W, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be in the unfortunate position to have to replace my tumble dryer. However, as fate would have it, my 18 year old full-size Hotpoint, which had been passed through 2 family members, decided to stop tumbling and exhale short bursts of cold air. I was stunned. But there again, there was no shame to my Hotpoint. So I decided to pay another visit to Curry’s. Once again, like I did with my washing machine, my first port of call was my darling Ciao. I must admit, I didn’t look at a lot of the reviews for other brands, as I had virtually decided to buy a Zanussi dryer, as I was so impressed by their washing machines that I thought their tumble dryers would be just as good... ...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W. The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase. The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. The frost free freezing system stops ice building up inside the compartment so that you don’t have to defrost the freezer. It also means that ice doesn’t take up space... Read review

Now I do use my washer very extensively and having a family of 5 with non stop meal time visitors, I load it fully and wash upto 4 times a day.I also work, as does my husband and with 3 young children my time is precious and sparce for hosehold duties, although I do enjoy a nice clean home. Which also brings me to the point of how wonderfully clean the pots are left after coming out of a dishwasher...germ free!! (hopefully) Well I guessed third time lucky...I consulted my bank balance and went shopping...... ...is rapidly turning to sour cream and there is a risk of food poisoning and we go on a mission for our ZX99 - there were none to be had. Did you know that Europe closes down for July/August and if what you want isn't in a warehouse somewhere you are not going to get it until the production resumes? No - well you do now! Currys - sorry, got loads on back order and no firm delivery dates - Comet - ditto - John Lewis - don't do Zanussi. Starting to get desperate now and then go on Empire Direct - I can get one and delivery is 3.5 weeks away so I order one and beg for an earlier delivery date - price quoted was £479 (I think) so the waiting game starts. We are then out in Hackeny and come across a Euronics Centre - explain we want a ZX99 and he will see if we can get one sooner - Monday get a call - they can get one for the following... Read review

...My Hotpoint tumble dryer gave up the ghost after 3 years & was not economical to repair!! Ciao gave me some ideas from reviews and I short listed several makes/models including a Zanussi - a make that I have never bought before as I was put off by the name (don't ask me why, the name never appealed!) My sister who is EXTREMELY fussy about everything has always had Zanussi white goods & raves over them so this time I allowed myself to look at them & glad I did! I saw the review for the Zanussi TCE7124W & decided that was the one for me, on average about £250.shame no one had it in stock! Then I was told it had been replaced by the TCE7227W & at £299-00.………OK £50 above budget but I researched it anyway & everywhere I read about it it came up glowingly!
