...Zanussi ZEL140W We have 2 fridges in the staffroom at work one is a Zanussi ZEL140W. This fridge is used mainly to store milk for the staff teas and coffee we buy lots on Mondays and this fridge keeps it fresh till Friday. I must admit I was surprised to notice that one of our fridges was a zanussi product as they are not the cheapest. Zanussi however are a reliable make. Zanussi was founded in 1916 by Antonio Zanussi. In Italy. In the 1980’s zanussi became one of Electrolux’s companies. Electrolux was formed in Stockholm in 1912 and now is the owner of many electrical product companies including Zanussi. Advantages: Massive capacity, quiet and efficient

...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W. The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase. The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. We choose to shop with Sainsburys as the price was competitive, and we also got nearly 600 Nectar points by buying it from them. Also, their delivery was only £19.99 and for an extra £7.99 they offer a recycling service. This means that Sainsburys will take away your old appliance and recycle it in accordance to WEEE legislation. All electrical goods need to be recycled now and adhere to strict recycling legislation. Advantages: Large, quiet, good use of space,
Disadvantages: Its failed three times since its been hot,

...could of been left open....it wasn't, and the second reason being that the temperature had dropped inside the fridge.......oh'dear!! The manual said to press the button that had turned red and keep the door shut (well' like we were going to keep it open!) and the fridge should re-cool. This didn't happen, we then phoned Zanussi and they advised us to take everything out and switch the fridge off and defrost it (this is supposed to be a frost free fridge remember) for 24hrs and then switch it on again. We done this and we were ok for the period of time from when the weather cooled down up until the weather getting warmer again. A few weeks ago when the heatwave started troubling the thermometer we heard a familiar sound...."beep - beep - beep - beep - ........" oh no! Advantages: Huge capacity and VERY quiet.
Disadvantages: Door storage not so good for such a tall applance

...We bought this item a month ago (Feb 07) to replace our Siemens-Bosch appliance as it has one of the largest capacities than most fridge-freezers without going for a full width side-by-side American style unit. Our first choice was to buy another Bosch as we currently have a dishwasher and washing machine made by them, but the similarly sized (and priced) unit had a smaller interior cubic capacity than the Zanussi. It was ordered from the Co-op online as they offered a fast delivery service (2 days) which suited us fine. Bearing in mind I could have bought this ZNB4051 from where I work, I opted for the Co-op rather than wait the 10 days my employer was quoting.. Advantages: Easy to keep, smell free, and lots of space!

...different from the catalogue picture, but under it all, the naked white rectangular god exisits that is the Zanussi ZERC3025. Bought from our previous tennants this almost brand new fridge cost us collectively £250 and it's alot of machinery for your money. The door opens with a large smooth white plastic handle and closes magnetically with sealed magnetic rubber strips. We've had it for two years now and it's still going strong and theres little sign of the rubber strips wearing yet so we're quiet impressed considering this item gets plenty of use. It sits flat on the floor with no feet like some fridges can have. It's also a straight fridge theres no freezer section, but fortunately for us we've tons of space in our kitchen so we've a little below waist height standing freezer unit separate for ice cream, oh and other nutritious frozen foods... ...This Zanussi model is excellent. FRIDGE It has two seperate compartments at the bottom for salad and meats - they are kept slightly colder than the rest of the fridge. Because they are seperate compartments, you can also keep more 'odouress' foods in there to stop the contamination of other items in the fridge. There are grippers in the door to stop bottles moving about when the door is being opened and closed. The horizontal bottle rack is a good size, the shelves are adjustable, it is very clean and clutter free, inside and out. The controls are very easy to understand and use. It has a fridge and freezer alarm that emits a bleep if you keep the door open too long and the temperature begins to drop too low.
