ZANUSSI COOKER.
Review of Zanussi ZCM700X by
packerlist
Advantages: COOKS EXTREMELY GOOD.
Disadvantages: NO TIMER.
...is burning.
It has sufficient features that make it a very good and reliable one. I got this through recommendation by a friend and on the other hand in catalogues and sites. Zanussi is now a product that I am now developing likeness for because they are now powering more on household appliances they should keep it up.
I will not say that this is a regret because when I got it new, I started some how to put blames on my self on spending such an amount on gas cooker alone later realized that this is a must do thing.
Since I got this, I can now save some money from fast food joints and this really is helping me a lot and that is a very big advantage on my side. All I need now from the appliance is longevity . Since I live alone, I see it lasting long for me without any problem.
Its number of burners is 5 and I am comfortable...

What to look for in a gas cooker
Review of Member Advice on Gas Cookers by
Ray45
Advantages: Cheaper than electricity, faster, good range of cookers
Disadvantages: None
...appliances. They often have very poor parts availability.
Check it has a Gas Council number (for UK customers). This is a safety standard. Very often foreign imports don't have Gas Council registration and are not as reliable. They can still be sold in the UK, though.
The choice between an eye-level grill and a waist-level is entirely a matter of personal taste. Remember the cooker will hopefully last you a long time, though, and as you get older it is more difficult to bend. Eye-level grills leave space below the oven for a storage drawer, which is usually spacious and will hold a lot of pans. Waist-levels are preferred by people with fitted kitchens, who want all the work-surfaces to be the same height. We have a waist-level cooker, because my wife prefers them, but I wouldn't have one out of choice. I have found them to be problematical...

My steaks are Juicy on my new Zanussi!
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZCG7551X by
wendybull
Advantages: Timer, Glass top
Disadvantages: /
...When we moved into our house we brought the cooker that was already there from the previous owners as we did not have one and thought it made sense to make do with the old one until we had the funds to totally re-do the kitchen and buy all new appliances. Finally six years later we are getting the kitchen finished and have brought a lovely new shiny cooker. I have been producing amazing meals on it for around seven months now (Ok maybe not amazing, it's not that clever!) but feel I have enough experience to let you know what I think.
We chose this particular model to begin with as it had a glass lid that closes over the hob. Originally I wanted a Halogen hob as I thought they looked really smooth and sleek, however after hearing some bad reports on the actual cooking abilities of them, we decided to go for a gas cooker through...

The In-CREDA-ble budget cooker
Review of Creda CAPRI C150L 500mm Gas Cookers by
sandemp
Advantages: Very durable | Cheap | Does what it's supposed to |
Disadvantages: No fancy functions
...After leaving home I'd had a series of second-hand cookers and although they'd done the job pretty well, I couldn't help but dream of that day when I could afford to buy my very own sparkling brand new cooker. So I scrimped and I saved and eventually I had enough money to go and buy the cooker of my dreams, which ended up being the Creda Capri, a gas fuelled cooker in a beautiful shade of racing green.
---Why the Capri?---
I was on a limited budget (under £250) when I bought this, but was still looking for something that would fit in with my then green themed kitchen. I also wanted gas fuelled rather than electric, because I've always felt electric cookers smell funny (especially the hob). After much deliberation and searching around the shops and home shopping catalogues (I didn't have the internet then), I happened upon the Creda...

Zanussi Oven ZCM700X
Review of Zanussi ZCM700X by
SHARTFIE
Advantages: Good looking, easy to use, durable
Disadvantages: No Clock
...I purchased the Zanussi 70cm Stainless Steel Range Cooker about 6 weeks ago and would like to detail my experiences so far.
First of all it is a nice looking cooker, the stainless steel looks superb and feels nice and cool as well. I liked the particulary large oven that it has which is iseal for cooking for families, it comes with 2 shelves which as adjustable so will fit in a very large bird. The energy rating is “A”
The Hob is stainless steel and has 5 Gas burner areas’s with a particulary good centre burner which I use for cooking with my Wok, oriental dishes come out well because of the heat generated – a problem with electric cookers that I have had previously. The gas burners are cast iron and appear to be very durable so far, they are also really stable – no wobbles so far. The knobs are quite nice as well.
The oven...

Double Oven 60cm Gas Cooker
Review of Belling G744 Gas Cooker by
Titch47
Advantages: Easy to clean and very smart looking.
Disadvantages: Oven racks quite difficult to pull out. No oven light.
...I purchased this cooker in white. I paid £269.95 but most suppliers seem to be selling it for £500+ so I think perhaps mine was priced wrongly as it certainly seems more like a £500 cooker than a cheaper model. It is a very smart looking cooker and easy to keep clean. It has double glass panels to both ovens which are extremely easy to wipe clean as is the smoked glass lid. The burners are very neat looking and the pan supports keep even the smallest of pans stable. Being 60cm the oven is a generous size and the hotplate easily accommodates four full size pans at once.
I find the grill very fast and when only cooking on one shelf the top oven is more than adequate.
The self cleaning oven really does self clean. The shelves in the main oven are a bit difficult to remove but I think this may just be due to it being new. The oven does...

Zanussi Cooker: ZKC6020W
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZKC 6020 W by
misseskimo
Advantages: Easy to use, wipe clean front
Disadvantages: Inherrent fault with fuses, hob isn't very easy to clean
.... The engineer said that it's quite a common fault on these Zanussi Cookers, and an easy fix, but I was still a bit annoyed that it had happened.
I'd say that it's good for a cheap buy, as it's easy to use and looks good. But make sure to pick up a bottle of ceramic hob cleaner from the retailer you go to....

I'm cooking on Gas
Review of Delonghi ESS602 Halogen Electric Cooker by
jamez
Advantages: piezo ignition, gas - instant heat
Disadvantages: time taken to light the oven.
...Ok first I have to admit that this is not about the De Longhi ESS602 Halogen Electric Cooker, instead I write about the cooker I actually own: a De Longhi GS1502W Gas Cooker, and yes I know that what I should have done is added the category to Ciao and then written my op in the correct category and I might even get them to add it and move this op to that category, but I’m not sure its worth it as a quick investigation on the De Longhi website (www.delonghi.com) shows me that they no longer sell any gas cookers. So why couldn’t I wait? Well for one reason, this op is my entry into the August household appliance competition and well tomorrow its September, so that would be too late. Also this is going to be my one and only op for August and I do like to write at least one a month.
Enough with the back story and on to the cooker. I...

The best of both worlds- dual fuel
Review of Zanussi ZCM611 Enamel SISO 00 by
asilandrabid
Advantages: Its dual fuel (gas and electric)
Disadvantages: There is no seperate grill its all in one
...Getting the best cooking results with a small kitchen is always tough, normally limited to either gas or electric cookers.
Hob cooking with gas gives instant regulated heat, essential in cooking sauces etc. Electric fan assisted ovens give uniform heat throughout the oven cavity preventing 'hot spots' of typical electric or gas ovens.
So with Dual Fuel where space is a real limitation to great cooking you can get the best results by having both gas hob and fan assisted oven in one, without having to spend loads of cash on separate gas hobs and electric built-in ovens. Of course Zanussi isn't the only provider of dual fuel ovens, but dual fuel is the first positive step to easier cooking with results.
The hob on the ZCM611 has 2 medium burners at the back, one massive burner and one small burner to the front. So you can get some...
