...I purchased the Zanussi 70cm Stainless Steel Range Cooker about 6 weeks ago and would like to detail my experiences so far. First of all it is a nice looking cooker, the stainless steel looks superb and feels nice and cool as well. I liked the particulary large oven that it has which is iseal for cooking for families, it comes with 2 shelves which as adjustable so will fit in a very large bird. The energy rating is “A” The Hob is stainless steel and has 5 Gas burner areas’s with a particulary good centre burner which I use for cooking with my Wok, oriental dishes come out well because of the heat generated – a problem with electric cookers that I have had previously.The gas burners are cast iron and appear to be very durable so far, they are also really stable – no wobbles so far. ...one is good for a frying pan or large based pan, although to be honest, unless both back burners are being used I don't really use the front ones much. The top oven/grill is a little on the small size for me. I would have preferred it to be slightly larger so I could fit pans on both the shelf and the bottom of the oven space, as I often end up cooking more than one variety of meal and it is often imperative that I have both ovens on at different temperatures and therefore need to utilise every scrap of oven space. The grill pan doesn't actually come with the cooker for some reason and we had to phone Zanussi and get them to send it through. It was free but make sure you ask for the grill pan, the wire rack and the grill pan handle. We thought it would be altogether and were sadly let down, having to make separate phone calls and orders... Read review

...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W. The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase. The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. The frost free freezing system stops ice building up inside the compartment so that you don’t have to defrost the freezer. It also means that ice doesn’t take up space... Read review

Advantages: EASY NOT TO BURN THE DINNER.

...the oven is outstanding !! The time that I save is amazing. With the fan assistance, the heat is circulated to cook evenly but quicker. I find this setting excellent for pies and dishes that have a lot of "middle" to them. I suppose that for a meat eater, this setting would be the favourite, although I do not cook meat in it at all. I tried this setting with nutroast and it was amazing because it was cooked right through to the centre without being too crispy on the outside. INNER GRILL Now here, Zanussi have been quite clever. If you are only toasting a small dish, what is the point of having the whole of the top of the oven lit up in grilling area ? Most of it would be wasted down the sides of the dish. ...I wanted to reduce the rate I eat fast food, so I decided to buy this. As a young bachelor, I decided to make out time for my self and start up cooking at least once in a while. Since I got this, I normally cook at least three times in a week, which is not that bad. Zanussi is a product that deals mostly with house hold appliances and their product delights me so much. Since I started cooking, I think I have created some problem for my self by cooking every time that I cant not visit the fast food. Well I have to admit the fact that eating out side is not that a good habit because one day, I will be married and face that responsibility as a father and my kids and my wife will like me to portray that good example. ...-but not with this one (apparantly zanussi are the only ones that have finger proof stainless steel). ALso cleaning--the rack holder unscrews so you can clean them and have easy access to the walls of the oven (and the grill). With the grill it does take ages to heat up (about 15 minutes) so i only use this if i have too-but once its heated up it works just like any other grill-dont know if this is just cause its electric or if its just this model. The defrost button on the oven is basically jsut the fan going-but it actually works (i was dubious about this) just be carefull not to leave things in there too long (i left sausages in and forgot-came back and they looked like leather) Well recommended.... ...This is by no means a cheap cooker, but everything on it oozes quality. All the buttons and dials switch and turn positively, with no play in them at all. Visually the cooker looks stunning, with halogen hobs, and the usual array of sizes and half /full rings. The cooker has a top and a bottom oven. The top oven doubles as a grill, and both have the benefits of a backlight and fan operation. The Zanussi cooks quickly and evenly; in fact it is so efficient especially with the fan oven that you may need to take about 10% the cooking times. The purchase cost was £600 including a good deal on a 5-year warranty thrown in for free.... Read review

...The ZCE8020AX (the Smile Cooker!) is an all electric double oven cooker with ceramic hob. Mine was delivered direct from Zanussi, when I unpacked it I found a VERY large dent all the way down one side. Other than that the cooker was fine. I contacted Zanussi customer services about the dent and they said they could offer me £30 compensation for the dent (should have been more like £130), or they could send an engineer, I chose the engineer but complained that it meant taking time off work. The CS assistant said this was not a problem because they did evening and weekend appointments. I was happy with this and was told that someone would call to arrange an appointment before 8 o'clock that evening. ...First of all thankyou in advance for reading this, my second review. Hopefully it will be of some use to anyone interested in purchasing one of these machines or just as a comparison. I will try and cover the main features of the washer and explain how I have found them in terms of performance. When purchasing any product like this manufacturers tend to claim that their product is far better than the competitions. Being inquisitive and to have a better understanding, I tend to try and find out why it is better and how the results are archived. Zanussi's claim to fame is their "Unique Jet System" as this is the main selling feature I took the time to find out what it does and how it does it, rather than just being a term in a brochure.
