Zanussi Washing Machine: ZWF12070W
Review of Zanussi ZWF 12070 by
misseskimo
Advantages: Large porthole for easy loading/unloading, easy to use dials, delay start
Disadvantages: Soap Dispenser doesnt flush enough water through and sometimes leaves clumps of soap
...I bought one of these machines when I renovated my new flat last year and must say that I'm quite impressed with it. I previously had an 800rpm, 4KG load washing machine so to go upto 1200rpm with 6KG was quite a noticable difference.
I was recoomended this product by a friend of mine who had the 1600spin version, so I researched it a bit to make sure that the lower spin speeds came out as good as the higher one (I think that it was reccomended in Which? aorund the time that I was looking), and found that alot of people had positive opinions for all spin speeds. I later found out that this machine starts from a 1000 spin upto a 1600 spin verson, it's only myself and my partner at home so we decided to just go for the 1200 in the end - and this suits us fine.
I like the fact that it has a delay start function (upto 9 hours) as I can...

zanussi washing machine zwf1421w
Review of Zanussi ZWF1421W by
maurbry
Advantages: great washing at fairly low cost
Disadvantages: none found
...lately i found myself in the rather unfortunate p[osition of having to buy a new washing machine and this is what i found whether by luck or judgment i dont know but i did good. this machine for the price of £227 is a pure bargain i got mine from tesco.com and through quidco you get a rebate of just over £5 added to your account. the quality of the wash is superb in my opinion and the extra spinspeed of 1400 is well worth the extra few quid. for all you carbon footprint watchers out there the consumption is 1.14kWh using 54 litres over 155 minutes which i feel is about average for todays machines and with the complete ease of use this machine will suit anybody who needs a good family sized washing machine as it will hold 6kg of washing without breaking the bank...

Three As for Zanussi
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16281 by
Zmugzy
Advantages: Good all round performance and environmentally friendly
Disadvantages: None worth mentioning so far
...It's been over six months since I've been using the Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16281. It is a free standing 1600 rpm washing machine in a white finish with dimensions of (H)85.0 x (W)60.0 x (D)60.0 cm. It seems a well constructed aappliance and I suppose by today's standards it was a reasonable price (Just over three hundred quid). It certainly washes clothes to my satisfaction and wash loads on the whole seem to take the same length of time as my parent's Zanussi ZWC 1300.
When buying electrical appliances these days I always take into account environmental and energy efficiency related issues and the ZWF16281 certainly meets my expectations in this department. It comes with an A rated energy rating, an A rated wash performance an A rated spin performance. I think the wash performance related to how much water the machine uses...

New Zanussi for me and Susie
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 1621 by
paulhanton
Advantages: Cheap, quiet, good energy rating.
Disadvantages: None so far
...Our washing machine finally gave up the ghost on Good Friday, we went in to Comet Electricals who, I have to say, were extremely helpful, and we chose the ZWF 1621 from Zanussi-Electrolux for three reasons:
1. Price: we did not want to pay over £300, and this was £249.99, plus plumbing etc (I'll come on to that).
2. Good, realiable brand.
3. They had these in stock for quick delivery.
Whilst I am not reviewing Comet, we did take advantage of their delivery and plumbing (£32.95) and eco diposal of our old washer (£7.50)....just try getting a plumber out the next day to do all this for £40.
The washer is white, two dials on the right, one for wash programme, and one for spin speed. Five buttons on the left; from 'start' to delay start, pre wash, options and half load. There is a very clear display of lights showing what part...

All washed up.
Review of Zanussi ZWF1421W by
lizzieo
Advantages: Quiet
Disadvantages: Doesn't show how long the programme has left before it finishes
...My old AEG sadly died, and went to washing machine heaven, so after 2 weeks of lugging the washing to a neighbour's, I decided enough was enough, and bought a Zanussi ZWF 1421W. I did a bit of research on the internet (not allowed to tell you which sites), and chose this one because various reviews said it was cheap, quiet and reliable. Also, it was in stock in Curry's, and I wanted it ASAP.
My husband collected and fitted it (he's a plumber so knows what he's doing), but if you can't do it yourself, I'm sure your supplier will do it (for a fee). It's cold fill only, as most modern machines are nowadays, so you don't connect it to the hot tap. As soon as he'd finished, a quick read of the manual, and the first load went in.
It's a front-loading machine, with a left-hinged door, the pull out detergent dispenser drawer on the left...

Washing Made Easy - What More Could You Want?
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF1010 by
angeleyes1802
Advantages: Easy to use, Cheap, Fresh clean clothes, 'A' rated energy efficiency
Disadvantages: Can't they make one that does the ironing and puts everything away?
...Our washing machine packed up and died a sad death last year. At the time cost was one of our biggest concerns - so we ended up with a cheaper model - the Zanussi ZWF1010W.
At the time I thought we'd use it for a few months and then get a better model - but 9 months down the line theres no going back - this is the best washing machine Ive ever used and Im sticking with it.
My mum's always sworn by Hotpoints - but I think this one far excels all of hers that shes had over the years - and its so easy to use. Whenever I go home these days I have to hunt for the manual to find out whether I want wash 'A' or 'B' with setting 1, 2 or 3. My one is so simple - and it even has a section at the top explaining what the settings are.
It may not look flashy - but it is easy to keep clean and sparkling - it still looks brand new 9 months...

It's a decent washing machine!
Review of Zanussi ZWF1430 by
Boardy
Advantages: Quiet, efficient and gets clothes clean
Disadvantages: Domed front sticks out of flush fitted kitchens
...I had my last washing machine, a Hotpoint, for 8 years. I had to admit defeat when not only had the drawer broken but the pump had as well and the rubber was deteriorating to such an extent that it left blacks marks on the washing. Time to buy a new one - but where to start? Washing machines are notoriously temperamental and I didn't want to make an expensive mistake.
I bought Zanussi as it was a reputable brand name. The appliance of science and all that. I bought that particular machine (ZWF 1430) purely because I got a good deal on the internet. A gamble, but it paid off. I'm really pleased. It is so quiet that I have to keep checking that it is still on!
It is so easy to use. Just indicate what it is you are washing eg cottons, synthetics etc and then it automatically sets the programme for you. You also have the option...

Advantages: easy to use large capacity
Disadvantages: None so far
...Having just bought a Zanussi ZWF12070 washing machine, which I have already review I decided as my Hotpoint tumble drier was playing up (again) I used to trust Hotpoint (not any more) I would invest in a Zanussi machine in light of the excellent performance of the above washer I chose the ZDC67550W
