...My old and very noisy Servis machine died the other day (it had been dieing since day 1). I did loads of comparisons looking for the best machine available in my price range. I'd always thought that a Zanussi machine would be out of my league, so was extremely surprised with the competitive price offered. It was extremely easy to remove the transit spacer (although you do need a 10mm spanner) and the bar at the back of the drum. Once this was done it was a case of attaching the relevant pipes and then it was ready to go. When I used it for the first time I was impressed by how quiet it is and that you can hardly hear it, even when it spins at 1200 rpm. It takes a 6kg washload which is great for those larger items like duvets and blankets. This machine also sports 15 different wash programmes including all the usual ones... Read review

...After recently replacing my very unreliable Indesit washing machine with the very efficient Zanussi FDJ1666W, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be in the unfortunate position to have to replace my tumble dryer. However, as fate would have it, my 18 year old full-size Hotpoint, which had been passed through 2 family members, decided to stop tumbling and exhale short bursts of cold air. I was stunned. But there again, there was no shame to my Hotpoint. So I decided to pay another visit to Curry’s. Once again, like I did with my washing machine, my first port of call was my darling Ciao. Advantages: Massive capacity, quiet and efficient

...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W. The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase. The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. Advantages: Sooooo quiet, even when spinning at the full 1200 rpm. Countdown timer. Variable Temperature & Spin options. Handwash programme. Uses far less water than previous machine. Cold fill only... The list goes on!
Disadvantages: Longer programme times, but can be reduced using Extra Quick option.

...On Last Wednesday 28th September, my kitchen was changed. The 7-year-old Hotpoint washer dryer has now been replaced by a fantastically modern, mid-range Zanussi ZWD1270W washer dryer. Even though the machine was around £350, what I have received is a machine that is worth every single penny we paid for it. EXTERIOR: When looking at the machine, you can see the drawer in the top left-hand corner. This is split up into three sections- The pre-wash section is the furthest to the left, the Main Wash section is in the middle, and the conditioner part situated at the very right of the drawer. One thing I have noticed, which is great, is that the drawer has several water holes at the top, more visible when the actual container has been taken out. ...Zanussi FLE 1416 W - XC (Xtra Capacity) Being a mum in full time work is difficult enough without having to worry about household appliances going on the blink! This was the case with my trusty 10 year old washing machine. It was a lottery to see if the thing would work without it sticking half way through a wash. Enough was enough. I decided to dispose of the archaic, unreliable old washing machine and bite the bullet and buy a new one. From the outset, I decided that the new machine would not have the old fashioned dial type control, as this was causing the problem with my original machine. I wanted state of the art push button simplicity – and a few snazzy lights too if possible! Basically, it had to be husband proof. ...: This needs cleaning every 80 cycles & yes there is a little light to advise you to do this as well!!! & this is stored at the base of the machine behind a little door! I was told by the store representative that the Zanussi is the one of the few B rated tumble dryer for energy efficiency this is because its operated by two fans which reduces the amount of humidity escaping into the room, and is so good the makers say you can put it in a cupboard!! Heat: As with all Tumble dryers this one does generate some heat but not as much as previous machines I have had & no condensation at all. This time of year the heat is OK & in the summer the back door would be open & I would not be using it as much so its not a real issue for me.
