...The Zanussi range is quite innovative and when looking for a fridge freezer, isn't it confusing ? There are so many and I wanted one that was great for my personal preferences rather than what was fashionable. The dimensions of this one were ideal although it did mean going without a bit of workspace but proved worth it. With a height of 850cm, Width of 895, and depth of 600mm, it's almost like a large side by side box, but what it offers you in space is pretty good compared with it's rivals. 128 litres of fridge space is impressive, with 52 litres of freezer capacity but what I liked most was how it differs from the Big Box American styles that I was trying to avoid. Glass shelves made it easy to wash and keep clean, and there is a crisp section for lettuce and salad bits and bobs that really does work effectively, instead... Read review

...First of all thankyou in advance for reading this, my second review. Hopefully it will be of some use to anyone interested in purchasing one of these machines or just as a comparison. I will try and cover the main features of the washer and explain how I have found them in terms of performance. When purchasing any product like this manufacturers tend to claim that their product is far better than the competitions. Being inquisitive and to have a better understanding, I tend to try and find out why it is better and how the results are archived. Zanussi's claim to fame is their "Unique Jet System" as this is the main selling feature I took the time to find out what it does and how it does it, rather than just being a term in a brochure. ...After recently replacing my very unreliable Indesit washing machine with the very efficient Zanussi FDJ1666W, I certainly wasn’t expecting to be in the unfortunate position to have to replace my tumble dryer. However, as fate would have it, my 18 year old full-size Hotpoint, which had been passed through 2 family members, decided to stop tumbling and exhale short bursts of cold air. I was stunned. But there again, there was no shame to my Hotpoint. So I decided to pay another visit to Curry’s. Once again, like I did with my washing machine, my first port of call was my darling Ciao. I must admit, I didn’t look at a lot of the reviews for other brands, as I had virtually decided to buy a Zanussi dryer, as I was so impressed by their washing machines that I thought their tumble dryers would be just as good... Advantages: Massive capacity, quiet and efficient

...When we replaced our fridge-freezer I was specifically looking for a larger fridge compartment as well as a good sized freezer. I have always been used to, and liked Zanussi as I was brought up with them. My mom swears by them and our first washing machine was a 15 year old Zanussi of hers. Understandably they were one of the makes we looked and after several comparisons we chose this Zanussi ZNB343W. The price was reasonable everywhere but we got it from Sainsbury for £297.00 in the sale. We used our nectar points to bring the price down further and received almost 600 further points on the purchase. The Zanussi ZNB343W is a frost free 60/40 fridge-freezer. The frost free freezing system stops ice building up inside the compartment so that you don’t have to defrost the freezer. It also means that ice doesn’t take up space... Read review

...is rapidly turning to sour cream and there is a risk of food poisoning and we go on a mission for our ZX99 - there were none to be had. Did you know that Europe closes down for July/August and if what you want isn't in a warehouse somewhere you are not going to get it until the production resumes? No - well you do now! Currys - sorry, got loads on back order and no firm delivery dates - Comet - ditto - John Lewis - don't do Zanussi. Starting to get desperate now and then go on Empire Direct - I can get one and delivery is 3.5 weeks away so I order one and beg for an earlier delivery date - price quoted was £479 (I think) so the waiting game starts. We are then out in Hackeny and come across a Euronics Centre - explain we want a ZX99 and he will see if we can get one sooner - Monday get a call - they can get one for the following... Read review

...My Hotpoint tumble dryer gave up the ghost after 3 years & was not economical to repair!! Ciao gave me some ideas from reviews and I short listed several makes/models including a Zanussi - a make that I have never bought before as I was put off by the name (don't ask me why, the name never appealed!) My sister who is EXTREMELY fussy about everything has always had Zanussi white goods & raves over them so this time I allowed myself to look at them & glad I did! I saw the review for the Zanussi TCE7124W & decided that was the one for me, on average about £250.shame no one had it in stock! Then I was told it had been replaced by the TCE7227W & at £299-00.………OK £50 above budget but I researched it anyway & everywhere I read about it it came up glowingly! Advantages: Sooooo quiet, even when spinning at the full 1200 rpm. Countdown timer. Variable Temperature & Spin options. Handwash programme. Uses far less water than previous machine. Cold fill only... The list goes on!
Disadvantages: Longer programme times, but can be reduced using Extra Quick option.

...On Last Wednesday 28th September, my kitchen was changed. The 7-year-old Hotpoint washer dryer has now been replaced by a fantastically modern, mid-range Zanussi ZWD1270W washer dryer. Even though the machine was around £350, what I have received is a machine that is worth every single penny we paid for it. EXTERIOR: When looking at the machine, you can see the drawer in the top left-hand corner. This is split up into three sections- The pre-wash section is the furthest to the left, the Main Wash section is in the middle, and the conditioner part situated at the very right of the drawer. One thing I have noticed, which is great, is that the drawer has several water holes at the top, more visible when the actual container has been taken out. ...After my previous Zanussi broke down after 5 years, we looked around at other makes of washing machines, but decided that we would stick with Zanussi, as our machine had been good to us. After much deliberation, we chose this model, because it had the extra capacity and delay start timer. We bought it from Comet, mainly because they could deliver it fast and plumb it in, and take away the old one. This cost £299 plus delivery charge. The first thing I noticed, was that it could indeed take more washing that my previous model (up to 6kg) This is a big advantage, especially with my family. ...Zanussi FLE 1416 W - XC (Xtra Capacity) Being a mum in full time work is difficult enough without having to worry about household appliances going on the blink! This was the case with my trusty 10 year old washing machine. It was a lottery to see if the thing would work without it sticking half way through a wash. Enough was enough. I decided to dispose of the archaic, unreliable old washing machine and bite the bullet and buy a new one. From the outset, I decided that the new machine would not have the old fashioned dial type control, as this was causing the problem with my original machine. I wanted state of the art push button simplicity – and a few snazzy lights too if possible! Basically, it had to be husband proof.
