Three As for Zanussi
Advantages: Good all round performance and environmentally friendly
Disadvantages: None worth mentioning so far
...It's been over six months since I've been using the Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16281. It is a free standing 1600 rpm washing machine in a white finish with dimensions of (H)85.0 x (W)60.0 x (D)60.0 cm. It seems a well constructed aappliance and I suppose by today's standards it was a reasonable price (Just over three hundred quid). It certainly washes clothes to my satisfaction and wash loads on the whole seem to take the same length of time as my parent's Zanussi ZWC 1300.
When buying electrical appliances these days I always take into account environmental and energy efficiency related issues and the ZWF16281 certainly meets my expectations in this department. It comes with an A rated energy rating, an A rated wash performance an A rated spin performance. I think the wash performance related to how much water the machine uses...

What a great machine!
Advantages: Works well, looks good and the price is right
Disadvantages: None so far
...As we were moving to our new cottage we decided to buy a new washing machine. The one at the house was about six years old and had already had the engineer out to it once so we thought a new one would be a good idea.
It also meant that we didn't have to carry the washer in the back of the car, which is how we have moved everything else up to the cottage! Impressive eh? Mind you we have got a Zafira (not a Mini) and we have got fitted wardrobes at the new place so they didn't have to come but still we're quite pleased with ourselves! By the way it did take lots of trips - we didn't do it all in one go! LOL!
We did some research on the Internet and then went to Currys for a look at the machine we liked - the Zanussi Electrolux ZWF 1432W. In fact the price in Currys was as cheap as anywhere on the Internet - £219.95 - so we chose to...

New Zanussi for me and Susie
Advantages: Cheap, quiet, good energy rating.
Disadvantages: None so far
...Our washing machine finally gave up the ghost on Good Friday, we went in to Comet Electricals who, I have to say, were extremely helpful, and we chose the ZWF 1621 from Zanussi-Electrolux for three reasons:
1. Price: we did not want to pay over £300, and this was £249.99, plus plumbing etc (I'll come on to that).
2. Good, realiable brand.
3. They had these in stock for quick delivery.
Whilst I am not reviewing Comet, we did take advantage of their delivery and plumbing (£32.95) and eco diposal of our old washer (£7.50)....just try getting a plumber out the next day to do all this for £40.
The washer is white, two dials on the right, one for wash programme, and one for spin speed. Five buttons on the left; from 'start' to delay start, pre wash, options and half load. There is a very clear display of lights showing what part...

What a smart washing-machine!
Advantages: A 7kg load - it can do 7 sheets at a time
Disadvantages: See updated review!
...and wish to merely spin the item, the minimum spin is a 10 minute 'rinse and spin' - impossible to just 'spin'.
I still haven't gotten over the fact the door unlocks almost instantly when you find the sock you dropped on the way to the washer! I still love that.
I did switch off the beeps for a while, but I found I didn't notice when my machine had finished. I sometimes forgot I even had a load in. Hence beeps back on, and we all rush to switch it off as it's so damn annoying!
ORIGINAL REVIEW
This machine is hot off the production line at Zanussi-Electrolux. It is a latest improvement on the current batch in that they have upped the load capability to 7kg. As my last Zanussi took a measly 4.5kg and bit the dust with worn bearings you will understand why I am so excited!
It's an all-singing, all-dancing, very clever...

You spin me right round, baby right round
Advantages: washes clothes really well, large drum capacity, lots of programmes, dries clothes really quickly
Disadvantages: The title of this review - sorry I couldn't help myself
...When the time came for a dishwasher to be installed into my very tiny kitchen something had to give and in my case I had to dispose of my seperate washing machine and dryer and go out and buy a combined easher/dryer. Anything for an easy life. I decided on the Zanussi ZWF1637 mainly because it was the first I saw and because I couldn't be bothered wandering around looking at washing machines on my day off. It cost £330 and was graded as energy efficient A.
Once the delivery men arrived and installed it I was quite pleased that there was no hassle, it was plumbed in within minutes and ready to go. The white plastic finish doesn't look tacky and it looks far too bright against the older appliances in the kitchen. The dimensions for information are 85cm high, 60cm wide and 60cm deep. Hardly huge and likely to fit under any average...

This one gets my vote!!
Advantages: Superb results from a budget machine
Disadvantages: I havn't found one YET
...I am somewhat new to this but I would like to share my experiences for this washer as I have found it to be a well worth while purchase.
Firstly I would like to apologise in advance if I tend to ramble on a bit and any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Choice
++++++
I will start by giving my reasons for choosing this particular appliance. In the past I have always stuck to Hotpoint, however my last machine had been giving me problems after only 18 months of use. Although they carry a 5 year parts cover, the labour cost still makes it an expensive game to keep having the engineer out. After the 3rd or 4th repair within two years, I decided it was time to change.
A friend of mine had recommended Zanussi to me, so I thought I would give it a go. After all a recommendation from an end user is worth 20 sales brochures in...

Things are hotting up in the kitchen
Advantages: Double Oven, fan assisted, easy to use
Disadvantages: It is more expensive if it isnt white
...I ordered my new oven from Argos just a few months ago for the bargain price of £449.99. It is a White electric Zanussi-Electrolux ZKC5540W and it is sold as a double oven with a separate grill. This oven is also available in Silver and Stainless Steel but it does cost slightly more at a cost of around £549.99.
So why did I plump for the oven, well other than the fact it was currently on sale and I was saving myself £100 it is exactly the same Oven that my Mother-in-law has and it possesses everything that I need and it comes with a one year warranty.
There are three separate compartments to this oven, firstly we have the hob which is glass ceramic and black in colour and it has 4 fast heat separate hobs which light up red when they are switched on. To activate the hob there are four separate knobs which can be turned to...

Zanussi-Electrolux ZDC 67550
Advantages: easy to use large capacity
Disadvantages: None so far
...Having just bought a Zanussi ZWF12070 washing machine, which I have already review I decided as my Hotpoint tumble drier was playing up (again) I used to trust Hotpoint (not any more) I would invest in a Zanussi machine in light of the excellent performance of the above washer I chose the ZDC67550W
A bit about the company
The company was formed in Italy way back n 1916 and thus is well established
The Company rapidly grew from a handful of employees to over 300 in a mere 30 year period and have now built a dedicated centre whose aim is constantly developing and improving their range of products. It became part of the Electrolux group in 1980 and still goes from strength to strength and is dedicated to making those routine jobs easier and more efficient
What is the ZDC67550W
This is what is classed as a condenser drier...

Does it still have the appliance of science ?.
Advantages: Good price, easy to use, various wash cycles, delay option, up to 1600rpm
Disadvantages: Only B rated, a few programme errors.
...insurers kindly agreed to pay for a replacement washer and so we began looking around for a suitable one. Finally after much searching in the shops and on-line we decided to go for a Zanussi as our previous one had been so good. However our new one had a few bonuses.
We bought our new Zanussi through a cash-back site and Asda direct and so the price was very good. I think we paid around £330. There is one problem which I guess was from Asda. The edge of the drum is just slightly bent out of shape. This is so small that we had been using the washer a few weeks before we realised it. As the washer had been in its packing waiting to be fitted for a few months I decided it was too late to complain to Asda and thought we would chance it. At present this does not affect the performance at all and only time will tell.
