...With a J-Lo butt like mine I can’t be choosy in what garments I go for. Whatever fits goes into the shopping basket! Yeah right! As if!! No way! It has to be trendy, cool, latest colours and materials and above all value for money. You’ll know by now that I like a bargain (see TK Maxx) and although I spend a bit extra for something I absolutely love I will have a look around for the best deal in town. Right now ladies and gents the best deal in town to me is undoubtedly Zara! The question is though: Will it fit my J-LO butt?!! It’s luge (large+ huge)! ...Zara is a great shop if you want to pick a bargain or get a timeless piece like a black blazer or black trousers. Instore they have a good mix of affordable pieces and slightly more expensive garments. The sale in Zara is fantastic and I would recommend that anyone pays a visit. I and my family have got some great bargains. I got a zip up jacket for £7!! The original price was £20...now thats what I call a bargain! A word of warning be prepared at sale times to hunt through a huge mound of clothes to find what you want but don't let that put you off. There are a few disadvantages with Zara. On their cheaper items the quality isn't always the best, so if you are looking for something to last try their more expensive range of clothes. The sizes can be really confusing at times. ...Zara is nowadays one of the most successul clothes shops, at least in Spain, the style is very casual, with some thing to go out in a party, tracksuits too, we have everything, anf the pries and sizes are very good. The Shop The shop is opened since 1975, the first shop was in La Coruña, and nowadays is still opened, the entreprise group is called initex, and all of the shops belong to the same owner. A very rich man hahahaha. It has 3 departments: Woman, Man, Children. First of all we have woman section: Here we can find every kind of clothes, separated in 3 mini- sections: *Woman: for ladies and no so young woman, we have suits, skirts, shirts and we can find pregnant clothes too, clothes for party etc. *Trafa: for young people, I like this section, we have a lot of jeans to choose, track suits, shirts etc... ...Nowadays when I read a magazine, I always find something about Zara, it seems to be the latest fade to get your clothes there. Well, I have been shopping at Zara for years so it is not a surprise for me. Or it should not be. I think Zara is great in two different styles: # The basics (look for Zara’s basics): you can get a whole wardrobe for a ridiculous cheap price: trousers, t-shirts, pullovers, tops, even suits or coats. #Last fashion: Have you seen something at the catwalk that you would like to copy? New season garments in your magazines that you would like to wear before everybody else? Just look in Zara: they will invariably have everything before the rest of the High Street. And cheaper. ...The Clothes that Zara sell are fashionable and well made. They are of good quality and have different ranges from ladies evening wear and day wear to underwear, mens and children's wear. Expect to pay around £30 - £35 for trousers/jeans and £20 - £25 for an evening top. Casual tops are around £10 - £20 Unsure about shoes/belts etc. but I am certain they are not excessive prices. Zara use continental size labelling, which I find very confusing. It is impossible to find your size very quickly, so if you are in a rush I don't recommend you shop here. I have also noticed that queing time for fitting rooms is horrendous in this store and the que for the till is equally bad. Unfortunately for me I can not fit into any trousers or jeans that they sell! I now feel too fat to shop in Zara which is ridiculous. I am a small... Read review

...It is safe to say that Zara is one of the best stores on the high street at the moment. It is a clear rival to other stores such as Gap and H&M, whilst still having the ability to offer something unique and classic all at the same time. Zara offers a wide range of clothes which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. They are very good for work essentials such as shirts, suit jackets and shoes, all which are offered at competive retail prices. One of the best things about this store is that fact that it really does have items for all occassions. It is easy to find you self looking at a beautiful £70 dress (chic, yet affordable) one minute and a simple £9 mini skirt the next. A particularly nice thing about this store is the layout. ...It's nice to walk into a high street store where the racks aren't bulging with clothes and there are not garments strewn carelessly across the floor. That is what first strikes you about Zara. The shop that I have been in is well lit, airy and spacious. Lovely. RANGE Don't go into Zara expecting the wide range of clothes you find in other womens high street stores like Topshop or New Look. Zara seems to sell more elegant clothes but in a style that I would think appeals to a wide age range of women. QUALITY The quality of the clothes is good. ...Zara are a Spanish retailer who have many shops worldwide as well as large numbers in the uk. I had never heard of Zara until it opened up in my local town and since then i regularly pop in to have a look at the latest trends. They have new styles of clothes delieved every week and sometimes more than once a week so there trnover is very high. This means if you see something you like it is best to buy is straight away, try it on at home with your other clothes and if you decide you dont like it return it then. They stock the latest up to date trends and many celebrities do shop there. It stocks shoes, dresses, cute tops, trousers which are generally tailered to fit peolpe with longer legs and so are not ideal for short people like me so i never but truosers from there, which is a shame beacuse they seem nice and fitted. they also... ...Zara isn't a British company. You can tell because the price tags have twenty-odd different currencies on, each accompanied by a little flag so you know you're looking at the right one. Perhaps the fact that it's not British is why it's so different. I don't know about you, but for a while I've been bored doing the rounds of Topshop, Oasis, Warehouse and Hennes. The clothes all seemed so similar. Since Zara (and also Mango, which I'll probably write an opinion on soon) opened up, I've spent more money there than in all the others put together.
