Zebra Computer
Advantages: You Learn
Disadvantages: Complicated
...life easier, such as bookkeeping E-mail and writing letters.
I think my strengths in this unit are being able to learn effectively and being interested in the subject. I have learned what I have because I can listen when being taught. I am not a slow learner, nor a fast one, but I can learn well. My other strength is being interested in IT, which is important because you learn more and enjoy it when you take an interest in your work. I am quite creative when using IT, which is another strength. By this I mean trying out different font sizes and styles on pieces of work, and saving files with names that correspond easily with the related document.
My weakness in IT is getting angry when I can’t figure something out. Ill keep trying for a while because I don’t like to ask for help or feel that the computer has beaten me. The only way to...

Ice Station Zebra -- unable to put it down
Advantages: A really entertaining read
Disadvantages: none
...First and foremost forget the film, it is unable to capture the humour and intensity fully.
This is one of my favourite books, containing just the right mix of intrigue and humour, whilst running along at a great pace .
We start off meeting the major characters very quickly, and a battle of wits starts immediately, between commander Swanson and crew of a US nuclear submarine and Dr Carpenter, sent from London to join the Sub on a special mission to trace a missing ice station named Zebra. (needless to say this may not be the whole truth) !
Now the story begins with lies, subterfuge, lies, sabbotage, lies, murder, lies, one of my favourite lines comes from this book and if you read it, its the one about I almost believed it myself.
The story twists and turns with some great descriptives along the way to really bring you into the story...

Fisher price bounce and spin zebra..... A bouncing spinning Zebra
Advantages: Keeps the little ones happy
Disadvantages: Annoying music, noisy..... but thats just us ;o) the kids will love it
...My little one had this for christmas last year and it's still going strong today so yes it is pretty durable and tough!
It's a super cute bouncy spinning zebra, which plays (annoying ahhem*) music!! It came in a rather large, heavy box as I remember, but putting it together was a doddle (even for me!!!) The green base snaps together with each triange then forming a hexagon, it fits around the base of the zebra (I had to put his handles on too) and then thats pretty much it (there may have been some screws I can't remember).
My little one has had hours of fun on it (so have the older two) but it seemed a lot smaller than I expected?? At £45 it wasn't cheap but it was one of his big presents so I didn't mind. I bought mine out of the christmas toy catalouge, but they are sold in argos and toysrus for roughly the same price.
It...

No zebras were harmed in the making of this toy
Advantages: sweet rattle
Disadvantages: none
...Zebras, I've noticed play a fairly big part in little boys clothing. Before Scarlett was born we didn't know her gender so we brought some gender neutral clothes and some reduced blue sleep suits and vests, which featured zebras in various designs. Little girls are bunnies whilst little boys are zebras.
Whilst looking round for Christmas presents for our little one we found this cute little zebra rattle. The zebra has blue and light blue stripes, small children must get a strange idea about animals! It has a smiley face and a playgro logo on the middle of it. It has a velvety, soft texture to it.
Attached to the main body of the zebra is a clear plastic ring, with half of the ring showing and the other half in the zebra body. In the ring are six fairly large balls of the following colours, green, purple. Red, blue, orange and yellow...

ASUS EEE PC 701 - Small but perfectly formed
Advantages: Size, Ease of Use
Disadvantages: Small keyboard, small screen
...This review looks at one of many netbooks to be released in the UK over the past few months, ASUS's EEE PC 701 SD. The model I have is fitted with Windows XP and has an 8Gb hard drive. I bought it on special offer for £155.
Appearance
The 701SD is absolutely tiny. It weighs around a kilogram and is roughly the same size as a hardback reading book when in the closed position. It comes in a neat box along with instructions,a mains charger, a protective case and a system CD. It has a 7 inch screen which is absolutely tiny but is still perfectly functional. The unit has three USB sockets, headphone and microphone jacks, and SD memory card slot, a small webcam above the screen and a microphone positioned just underneath the keyboard. It has a small touchpad which is small but works in exactly yhte same way as a normal sized laptop...

Cheap cadence computer
Advantages: Has a cadence sensor, good for turbo training
Disadvantages: Wired, small screen, not waterproof, useless for outdoor use
...Despite its name the Trek Incite 11i computer has just ten functions, which include current speed, an odometer, trip distance, elapsed time, 12/24 hour clock, average speed, pacer, maximum speed, temperature and cadence. The cadence sensor measures how many revolutions per minute you are turning the pedals, and this function is generally found on much more expensive cycling computers, therefore you may wish to consider this computer if you participate in spinning training.
Except for the temperature function, all functions are likely to be used by all cyclists in training. Personally, I can?t see the point of the temperature feature as it doesn?t add anything to the overall computer. One thing to note is the lack of stopwatch, which is a bit of a let down, however, there is a clock that starts once you start pedalling which you...

Mesh Computer Nightmare
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Appalling Customer Service
...This is an honest account of my experience of Mesh Computers Ltd. On the 2nd December 2008 I placed an order on-line for an Xtreme Pro I7-920. The desktop computer arrived on the 30/12/2008 by DHL courier service. The box was in good condition and I signed for the goods.
When the box was opened and the desktop computer inspected I soon discovered that it was not of a satisfactory quality. The system box was bent and not assembled correctly. The media reader was also bent and not installed properly. The black tower case was covered in a white compound or paint marks. The side panels had been able to move during transit due to the poor build quality. This allowed the screws to fall out that held it together and the manufacturers warranty seal had torn.
I went to the trouble of setting up the computer even though my instinct was to...

The Nation's Favourite Computer Shop
Advantages: Store layout, Convenience, Range of products, Lower Web prices for Collect @ Store
Disadvantages: Price of accessories and some items, Queues, Selection of certain items
...PC WORLD STORES
PC world are the retail arm of DSG International group. They specialise in computing items but also sell, TVs, digital cameras, stationary and even office furniture. PC World stores are dotted around the country with stores often located in retail parks so many of them are as big as supermarkets. I have most frequently visited the stores in Croydon, Catford, Charlton and Old Kent Road, with Croydon and Catford being the most frequent. They usually have their own car parks (depending on location) and there?s usually a fair number of spaces which is good, as I hate having to look for parking spaces.
Stores seem to consistently have the following sections:
- Components
- PC
- Laptop
- Software
- Stationary
- Digital Photography
- Home entertainment
- Printers
- Networking
The above sections are usually the big...

a racing zebra??
Advantages: great film
Disadvantages: n/a
...I watched this film one Sunday afternoon and I could not believe that I had not seen it before this was a great children's film and was very entertaining. Just when you think your eyes are deceiving you yes it really is, it's a Zebra and he is really cute. This film like all animal films has animals that can talk.
The film begins when a travelling circus accidently leaves a zebra in Kentucky on a miserable stormy night. The zebra is later found by Nolan Walsh played by Bruce Greenwood, a horse trainer who's given up his job after a riding accident killed his wife, his daughter Channing played by Hayden Panettiere who wants to be a jockey like her mum when she grows up, although her dad has other ideas for her, she decides to name the zebra Stripes who is voiced by Frankie Muniz.
Stripes then grows up and as he lives near race...

Marymoose touches a zebra!
Advantages: Wide selection of animals, fun to be had!
Disadvantages: Some animals didn't seem to have enough space, quite expensive
...entertaining to watch! And then there was the Asian Fishing Cat, apparently the best swimmer of all cats.
Monkey House ? there?s a nice selection of cute little monkeys including the Cappuchin and Squirrel Monkeys, and Geoffroy?s Marmoset (I always think this is a funny name) ? unfortunately since they?re behind glass, it?s difficult to get a decent picture of them.
Mandrill ? Moving onto the largest of monkeys, there is Charlie the Mandrill (you can read more about him on the website) and his family. Unfortunately he wasn?t coming out to play anywhere near us, so we could only see his rear end at a distance!
Zebra ? this was the highlight of my day, and prompted a new Facebook status ? ?touched a zebra?, as I stuck my hand through the fence to touch it (the zebra didn?t seem to object). Funny how close up zebras are...
