Logitech Z5 review- the perfect portable speakers
Advantages: Portable, good looking, few wires, remote, easy setup
Disadvantages: lacking bass or strong midtones
...Logitech Z5---REVIEW---
LOOKS
The Logitech z5 speakers look fine, and will slot into place on any desktop. The minimal wiring is also great, adding to the aesthetics, and it is a nice little package.
SOUND
For USB, 2.0 speakers, the sound from these is superb. Crisp, clear, with good mid-tones and treble, the speakers deliver, and with their "omni-directional sound" they almost sound like 5.1s. They are also pretty loud for 2.0 lappys, and do just about fine for anything. Classical music to pendulum all plays well, and the speakers, so far, have not faltered, not even with bass (performing ok even without a sub-woofer)
INSTALLATION
Box to play is about a minute with these, and is the best thing about them- there is no power chord or audio in, simply a USB chord for the computer and power, a great 2 in 1 combo...

Dimage Z5. A camera that's not too snappy
Advantages: Light weight
Disadvantages: Anti-shake not too hot
...Part of my job involves taking photographs. Previously I had used a heavy but exceptionally good and hardworking semi-pro Canon Powershot G2, but this was replaced with a Konica Minolta Z5. In theory this should have been better. It was somewhat lighter, and had higher resolution with 5 mega pixels.
That was the theory, but the truth is somewhat different. The view screen is useless when used outdoors, as it cannot be tilted (as that on the Canon can) so is not useable whilst in direct sunlight.
Whilst the camera is reasonably easy to hold (it is clear that attention to detail has been given to the ergodynamic design of the camera) it has been designed in such a way that it is not easy for left-handed people to use. The menu, however, is easy to access and fairly easy to use.
The flip up flash unit is a good idea and works...

Samsung YP-Z5A - Easy Listening
Advantages: Good-looking, great picture quality, easy to manage music files, great sound quality, scratch-proof
Disadvantages: A little overpriced for the capacity, battery life not too great
...I've had this Samsung 4GB MP3 player for a year now and even though I use an iPod Classic, the Samsung YP-Z5A is an excellent little gadget with plenty of extras.
Good Points: The quality of the screen is excellent - good, crisp images which are lovely and bright (brightness can be changed with the settings). It's easy to navigate - with a sensitive touch pad to scroll through songs easily but also "firm" buttons to press which add to the ease of finding what song/photo you're looking for. The volume is excellent and easily controlled with buttons at the side. Rounded edges and a scratch/fingermark resistant surface makes this an attractive looking player. The headphones that came with it were also nice-looking, but ended up breaking (read on!). Putting music files on to this player is pleasingly easy - as we all know, there...

YP Z5 4 GB SAMSUNG MP3
Advantages: GREAT LOOK AND VERY EASY TO USE
Disadvantages: SCRATCHES EASILY.SO CASE NEEDED
...I recently decided to get a new mp3 player as i had the ipod mini which broke and then the ipod nano which also broke so i decided to move on to naother brand..which is how i cam to buy the samsung YP - Z5.
This mp3 has everything you could want on an mp3 player. it looks great. it is a thin design. Comes in a range of colours which i believe are black, silver, and pink, and maybe white.
It has a large screen far bigger than ipods have and has a brightly coloured screen. you can also persnoalise the background which also helps it suit the requirements. It has the hold button on the top of the mp3 which you can switch to once it is off. The headphone socket is also situated at the top of the mp3.
The volume buttons to turn it up and down are on the right hand side of the mp3 and fit in quite well there.
The directional buttons...

The simply amazing Z5
Advantages: Stylish, unique features, easy to use jog-dial functionality, in-built answerphone, WAP and POP e-mail access
Disadvantages: No Infra-red capability to link to a PDA or PC.
...Occasionally I am surprised by a new product. The Sony Z5 didn't surprise me. It simply lived up to my high expectations. It is one unique, powerful little phone.
Initially you are drawn in by the sheer style of the handset - it's the sort of phone you want to put on the table in front of you when you go down the pub. But underneath the polished chrome exterior lies probably the most user friendly interface Ive come across. The jog dial is a revelation allowing you to access all of the menu features easily using one hand. Once you've discovered that the dial can be pushed back as well as in, you'll have access to all of the phones numerous features.
And what features they are. WAP access which seems to run considerably faster than I expected, utilising Microsofts Internet explorer. Accessing your normal e-mail account, something...

Sony CMD-Z5
Advantages: User prompting, size, emphasis, mobile Internet browser
Disadvantages: No ultrared interface, weak varnish coating, few audio attitudes, services
...A) it need not always be preface ************* that it Nokia might prove Sony with his Handy model CMD Z5. A small and easy Handy with good equipment but unfortunately small weaknesses in the detail. I now have the Handy almost a year and am rather satisfied except for odds and ends.
B) size and appearance:
******************** of 82,5 g with an emphasis and a size of 88x49x21,5mm (with closed lid) the Handy now and then lies very well in the hand and fits - there same size and a EUROCHEQUE card - ideal into every pocket. A silver allochromatic epoxy cover let the Handy easily and noble perform. The keyboard only runs out protected by a lid that barely in the case of closed state for 50% the display concealed. Consequently, callers can still be recognized by the number. The connection is found at the bottom for a free intercom...

Samsung YP-Z5
Advantages: Sound
Disadvantages: controls
...Samsung YP-Z5 the player has a better sound and battery life, compared to the ipod Nano. I have had my 1GB player for about 4 months now,
Don't be put off about the controls, you get used to it pretty quick and wonder what all the fuss was about. But When I first used the controls I was pressing down a little to had on the pad and then it stared to go all funky on me, it would just only go up or down, this problem was resolved by resting the player.
Transferring music is incredibly straight forward through Windows Media player. Grab an album from your list and drop it across in the sync list and on the player it goes!.
Some files that I had copied across from my pc didn?t play, if think this was due to just dragging and dropping the files.
The screen is ok, you can also use it to store images but they do tend to take a long...

Living with the Sony CMD-Z5
Advantages: Lots of features, easy to use, looks great
Disadvantages: Poor instructions for WAP and e-mail
...I have had my Sony CMD-Z5 for about a month or so now, and I love it! The sleek design and anti-scratch, anti-mark silver finish make it an eye catching accessory, as well as a powerful communications device.
I'd had my eye on the Z5 for a while and decided to upgrade on my existing One2One tariff. If you are thinking of upgrading, it's well worth having an open chat with someone from your existing network's customer service team. Competition in the mobile market is fierce, and you may be able to get an incentive to stay with your network if you have already completed your minimum contract period. I managed to get an £80 reduction in the price of the phone from One2One.
The Z5 has many useful functions; 'T9' predictive text input for writing SMS messages saves a lot of time. It can be annoying when it doesn't recognise the word you...

My life with the Samsung YP-Z5ZB
Advantages: clear screen, affordable, (mostly) unbreakable, stylish, long lasting
Disadvantages: Subject to wear and tear, as with any product.
...This product has been a part of me for 4 years now ever since it came out, as it is now able to be bought at a low price of around £40 this is a must for anyone looking for a competitive product.
I thought that this product would be overtake in technology by now bu it appears not. With its strong aluminum casing, this model will not break in your pocket, even after bieng thrown against a wall this is a safe bet.
With a long lifespan (in years) and excellent earphones (3.5mm) you cant not get it. Suprisingly this roduct was missed by most people when it first came out so you can be sure that unlike the ipod not everyone will have the same model as you.
As the yp-z5 can do everything a £100 pound ipod can, and more, dont waste your time on anything else. Ofcourse i can fit about 500 songs on here aswell as any documents...

The coolest and sexiest small phone - Sony CMD-Z5
Advantages: The best 'small' phone around
Disadvantages: Tricky to use at first, but only because of all its features
...The Sony CMD-Z5 is the most well designed, well thought out, feature packed phones I've ever used or even seen. It is literally credit card sized, with a nice neat flip design covering the keys and half of the screen. The flip is active, so it starts and ends calls when you open it.
The phone weighs in at about 90 grams. On first look, the sleek silver design looks lovely and the only concern is that the screen is too small. This is not true - when the flip is closed - in the standby position, half of the screen is covered. (I'm not sure how versatile this flip is going to be - but my phone's insured so I'm not too bothered.)
When you turn the phone on, you are met with the usual pin-check (if you've enabled it) and then a lovely animation of your choice - flowing water, a city or pool balls breaking up. This is just one of many...
