Also good for peepin' toms
Advantages: Lightweight, Good Image Quality, Compact, Cheap.
Disadvantages: The Case.
...the case includes a belt loop on the back, due the flimsiness of the case, the binoculars lull down and move about a lot on the strap.
The second problem with the case is that it is not waterproof, like the binoculars, meaning they will get wet if a downpour occurs. Also the case would be no use in protecting the binoculars if you were to drop them, its just too thin and doesn?t include any padding. (See Fig 3)
I would strongly recommend that you invest in a more sturdy waterproof case to prolong the life of the binoculars, especially when using outdoors. I keep the binoculars in my camera bag (Lowepro), as its much sturdier and most of all waterproof.

Great binoculars, great price
Advantages: Price, good low light performance
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I've had these binoculars for 2 years now, and they've been extremely useful. They were bought for me as a Christmas present, so I don't know exactly how much was paid for them, although a quick browse on the web shows a price around £40. At this price, I reckon these are an absolute steal.
By coincidence, at the same time as I was receiving these, I was giving the same person a pair of binoculars in return, the only difference being that they were getting a pair of Leica Trinovid 10X25, which cost over 5 times as much (USD$384 to be precise).
I've therefore had a good opportunity to compare the 2, and I think I wasted my money. There's no doubt that the optical quality of the Leica binoculars is slightly better, especially in very poor light, but if you just want a really good product for birdwatching, sports spectating, general...

Sony + Carl Zeiss = pure quality
Advantages: Strong, sleek, amazing lens quality
Disadvantages: no viewfinder
...This is the third in the series of "T" range cameras from sony, and the best looking yet. A slim, strong, robust, metallic casing makes this a very desirable model with a sony badge to finish it off. Although sony do not traditionally make cameras, they are a brand who always make quality products and have collaborated with Carl Zeiss to produce a very high quality lens for this model.
With respect to features, this camera is jam packed. With a 5 mega pixel CCD, coupled with a Carl Zeiss lens, the print quality from this camera is outstanding. The 3X optical zoom gives good flexibility to the type of photos which can be taken. The camera comes equipped with a video function with sound which is very high quality, and the 2.5" LCD screen makes for perfect viewing. This camera also comes with pre-program modes such as portrait, landscape...

A great new touchscreen phone from nokia
Advantages: Easy to use, fast
Disadvantages: Camera
...Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic is a great touch screen phone for its price. The symbian operating system is quick and useful, being able to download many different apps that make great use of the touch screen.
The interface is easy to use, after a few minutes of use anyone should be able to use it, though there are a few issues that could put people off at first glance, such as the double tapping on some menus to open things.
There are numerous different options to entering text, so there is bound to be one to suit you.
The camera on the 5800 is a 3.2Mega pixel Carl Zeiss lens, however the picture quality could be better, however its better than the iphone's camera.
GPS and WIFI are both included and work great, and you can download other applications if you don't like the ones already installed.
The phone comes with an 8Gig micro SD...

Nokia 5800: A Good Buy, but no iPhone beater.
Advantages: Great speakers, 'Trendy' appearance, Friendly user interface and well built.
Disadvantages: Touch screen not as well developed as that on an iPhone/iPod touch, Camera only 3 megapixels.
...feeds and recent activity.
The battery life is not as good as I would expect from Nokia, however for their first major touch screen phone it is a good effort. The phone is primarily marketed towards the more youthfull, musically inclined market. This is evident in the supply of a 'Guitar plectrum' stylus as standard. I find the speaker to be the best I have ever come across on a mobile phone as it's both clear, crisp and loud.
Camera wise the phone doesn't offer as many megapixels as the market leaders, however with a Carl Zeiss lens and a high quality microphone, both pictures and video come out at an above average standard.
Overall I would say that this is a great phone to be used by the younger consumers as the, sometimes fiddly, touch screen and focus on the entertainment value may not prove this phone to be best suited in a buisness...

Nokia 5800 - BEST TOUCH SCREEN PHONE,CHALLENGES THE I PHONE
Advantages: Features, design, easy use, sound/video, internet
Disadvantages: takes a few hours to get used to
...off to your friends. The handset features a 3.2-megapixel camera (wich is admittedly is dissapointing for such a high tecg phone) with Carl Zeiss lens. With a single touch, images or videos can be shared via websites such as Flickr or Facebook. The sound is brilliant much better than i expected. A final congrats to nokia for creating their first touch screen phone and making it the best on the market....

Nokias most recent attack on i-phone succes or failure
Advantages: memory
Disadvantages: touchscreen
...of dirt sand etc getting caught in both the N95 and N96 mechanism causing its smooth slide to become a thing of the past but the new "slide up" mechanism is something rather impressive that we havent seen another phone manufacturer come up with anything quite like this especially with such a strong build of the mechanism very unlikely to break or fall apart as many users have experienced with the N96. as with previous models the N97 boasts a 5MP camera with carl zeiss optics lens and also for you video callers out there there is of course a camera on the front of the phone.
and finally the part youve all been waiting for has nokia created something that can match up to the all powerful i-phone well the answer is unfotunately not although this is by far the best phone nokia have produced, the apps are all excellent although still few and far...

The phone from The Dark Knight
Advantages: great sensibility, wide variety of functions, good recording quality, superb sound
Disadvantages: the price
...Among phones, and especially, PDAs, appears a new trend in matter of design. Many more brands, Nokia being one of them, produces phones more and more "sensible" to touch.
The number of buttons is minimized as much as possible, and their place is replaced by bigger and bigger TFT touch screens. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is another proof that men don't want just a phone but a technological jewel. The menus with very suggestive icons are also found in this phone. This version operates on Symbian, 9.4 version. The "others" prefer Windows Mobile.
The data transfer is a part of standard settings. It might have been weird if we wouldn't said about Nokia XpressMusic the following statements :
- 3G
- Wi-Fi
- Gps
- 3.15 mp camera, Carl Zeiss.
Where do we know this phone? The Dark Knight. Yes, this great phone appears when Lucius Fox...

Nokia N95
Advantages: Feature rich, 3G phone, available on all networks.
Disadvantages: Battery life, Size
...This phone is robust, feature rich and replaces a variety of other electronic aids
There is a great synchronisation with Nokia PC suite so your Outlook contacts and meetings can be easily updated to your phone. There is a built in FM radio working with headphones and a wired remote control of frequency and volume. The device is Wi-Fi so you can connect to Ethernet 802.11G routers and Wi-Fi providers prevalent in cities and restaurants around the country. Bluetooth offers a simple way to connect with your PC or other supported devices.
The Carl Zeiss lens and 5 Megapixel resolution make the camera a great value add allowing you to happily leave your digital camera at home.
GPS and the Nokia Maps applicaton allow Satellite navigation possible while travelling by car although using a seperate GPS mouse might allow better lock...

Best Phone of 2007?
Advantages: Tons of features that are easy-to-use
Disadvantages: Some of the better features are only available at an additional cost
...The Nokia N95 is a truly wonderful phone.
It has a 5 Mega-pixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens which is a stamp of quality in itself.
The quality of the videos which can be viewed on the huge screen are of the highest order and can be dvd-like in some instances.
The usual suspects are to be found on this Symbian 60 Series phone with the contacts, messaging, folders, clock, calendar etc all being fairly easy to navigate and manipulate to how you want.
Where this phone comes into its own is with things like the GPS mapping which is effectively SatNav for when you are walking around - can\'t find that cashpoint you were looking for then get on your GPS mapping as your N95 pinpoints your position.
The internet browsing is fast and easy-to-use, with feature rich content and links to sites like Flickr - you can also download movies...
