The Legend of Zelda... Queen of the Jazz Age
Review of Zelda Fitzgerald - Nancy Milford by
snowbunni
Advantages: A Detailed, Fascinating & Well-Researched Biography
Disadvantages: Tale of a Short & Tragic Life
...'I don't want you to see me growing old and ugly…we'll just have to die when we're thirty.' Zelda Fitzgerald, 1919.
Zelda Fitzgerald, whose sentimental mother had named her after a gypsy queen she'd once read about in a novel, became royalty of her own sort at the height of the decadent twenties. As muse to and wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald, she presided over a generation of Jazz Age flappers, and her beautiful, bobbed profile epitomised an era. Scott Fitzgerald found inspiration for his fiction in the hedonistic whirl around him. His subsequent fame allowed the Fitzgeralds to join the party, but ultimately, it was a lifestyle destined to destroy them both. Their glamorous hay-day was short-lived, and within less than two decades both were dead, annihilated by a combination of madness and alcoholism.
Nancy Milford's biography...

Every Zelda that I've played!!!
Review of Zelda (N64) by
DBZKing
Advantages: its all the zelda's that i have played
Disadvantages: i dont know a lot of them :(
...This review is about all the Zelda games that I have played, it will give information about many Zelda games, from many different consoles, and I hope that it helps you in many ways.
ZELDA OCERINA OF TIME!
The aim of the game is to collect these three magical stones, a grass one, fire one, and a water one, and once they have been collected and placed in the Temple of Time, you will be able to travel 7 years into the future, so you can save the world from Ganondorf (the main bad guy), you learn various songs, which have their own special powers. When you are a kid you have to get those magic stones, you can only get them by going into 3 areas, the tree at the beginning of the game, is where you get the grass one, then you go to Donago's (the boss you have to fight, and its his cavern) Cavern, which allows you once defeated Donogo...

A slip for the Zelda franchise.
Review of The Legend of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass (NDS) by
oblivion252
Advantages: Graphics, some nice ideas, some audio.
Disadvantages: Gimmicky, bad gameplay, controls, story.
...Sorry if I'm going to be harsh in this review but I am a harsh reviewer and only the BEST games get above 90%.
A Zelda game. A DS Zelda game. The first DS Zelda game. Sounds revolutionary, doesn't it? Sounds fantastic fun, doesn't it? Shocker of the month: it's not all it's cracked up to be.
Don't get me wrong, this is a goodish game but it is, compared to other Zelda games, nowhere near as good. And it's all down to one reason really: it lacks the Zelda charm. More of that later.
So, you slot this little game into your DS and tap the icon of it. And, oh my goodness, it looks nice! A spectacular seascape with, get this: Wind Waker seagulls and Wind Waker clouds and Wind Waker graphics. Seriously: the graphics are officially awesome and in a stark contrast to other DS games, the start of the game seems super promising and, guess...

A must have for Zelda fans!
Review of The Legend of Zelda: Collectors' Edition (GameCube) by
Lauren89
Advantages: you get the original games plus the n64 classics plus features
Disadvantages: none
...As soon as I heard about this special edition I made a special effort to get a hold of a copy, since I wanted to play the original Zelda games. Until the release of this title that would have meant buying a NES console which is Nintendo's first games console released in 1983, and also getting a hold of the two NES Zelda games. Luckily I got a copy of this special edition, which allows you to play them on the Gamecube, along with another two Zelda games for the N64 - Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
This special edition was released in Europe in November 2003 but was not available on general sale. I got my copy by purchasing a new game which allowed me to send away for a copy (in my case it was Mario Kart Double Dash). Although the new game cost me £29.99, I was really getting 5 games here for the price of one. This disc contains...

Wii 'Em And Weep # 3 - Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
Review of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (N64) by
sprinklesUK
Advantages: Totally engrossing, so much to do, revoloutionary, utterly fantastic
Disadvantages: Dare I say it... looks dated now. Oh, and the Water Temple.
...*Prelude*
Welcome to the third instalment of Wii 'Em And Weep, my guide to the classic games of yore available to download for your Nintendo Wii's virtual console. Three has always been my lucky number, and this also happens to be my tenth review for Ciao. As such, I felt it was appropriate to review something a little bit special to mark the occasion. And so, I present to you my review for what has been for years regarded as the greatest video game of all time: The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.
*Review*
The SNES was a fantastic console and hosted many equally fantastic games during it's lifespan. Super Mario World, Starfox (or Starwing for us Europeans due to a copyright issue), Super Mario Kart, Earthbound (frustratingly not released over here), Final Fantasy VI (Or III... long story and I can't be bothered to explain just...

What will be the next Legend of Zelda
Review of Zelda (N64) by
draken333
Advantages: Awesome graphics, Fun game, Easy to control
Disadvantages: Some of the puzzles got hard
...The legend of Zelda has been going on now for a long time. The games that have come out have all been great. Nintendos first Zelda was awesome and has turned into a big time classic. It was its own style and had many advantages to it than most games. Then when the legend to Zelda came out for the SNES it blew everyone away. That game was great. The graphics were all redone and it had all the cool things that Zelda had to offer. Now the 64 had taken Zelda to the next step and has created something that everyone will like.
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time turned out great. With its huge story line followed by the 64s intense graphics Zelda made another classic. The way that its all setup in its 3d environment made Zelda a whole new game and brought you closer to links world. The controls are simply basic. You can walk around...
