I Am Procrastinating

Advantages: More drama than you might think
Disadvantages: SFX are crud.

...reason to do so! The movie in question was I Am Legend. This is one that has been on the books for a LONG time. The film company has owned the rights to the books since the seventies. That's older than me that is! They have also tried to get this film out there before but, for various reason, the production fell through. Instead of this rearing its head sooner, other films with similar ideas popped up (such as that one where you get to see the cute guys willy at the start) which were amazing in their own right? and not just because of the willy. I suppose it helped a bit though. Having now seen the other films and loving them, I feared this would be a horridly happy Hollywood horror (alliteration rocks) staring our favourite Sci-Fi normal-guy-who-ends-up-saving-the-world-and-looking-cool-while-doing-so, Will Smith. ...I am Legend was the 2007; sci- fi horror adapted from the 1954 Francis Lawrence, and a remake of the classic The Omega Man. The film starred Will Smith, in what was to be his first horror film. Opening in late 2007, the film grossed well over $500 million worldwide. I Am Legend - Wasn't legendary for me!!!

Advantages: Some good moments of suspense. Good scene setting.
Disadvantages: Lost it's story to some daft horror scenes.

I enjoy watching end of the world type scenario's like The Day After Tomorrow or Independence Day - big action films, when humanity pulls together to save the world. Advantages: Good set design, good acting. Story line had potential to be good.

Advantages: Two hours of sheer entertainment - expensive production values and outstanding star

...a little closer to her audience by finding someone who was celebrating their birthday and singing ?Happy Birthday? specially for them. Finally she delivered a speech to her fans thanking them for their support and promising to always give them the best she could. . Final Thoughts This is a slick, expensive and well thought out show ? and I can see why the tickets weren?t cheap now. Everything ? from the costumes to the lighting ? has money written all over it and Knowles has managed to deliver a fantastic 2 hour show and it would be churlish to criticise much of it. Advantages: great film
Disadvantages: great build up, but solved in no tme at all

...I saw this film at the cinema starring Will Smith and it was great. I am Legend, the film is about a break out virus that engulfs America. Robert Neville played by Will Smith is the last man uninfected left trying to find the cure to save the world before its too late. A good story line but the ending lets the film down. The build up and ideas of isolation are well put over, but 1 hour and 30 mins build up for a 4 min solution. I was blown away by this film from the start. Will Smith does a fantastic job of single handedly holding an entire performance together and displaying the emotional changes of a man pushed to his very limits, in a way that is both realistic and captivating. The only downside to the film may come in the final parts where the plot gets caught up a bit and the pace and message of the film seems to change...
