...It?s really a heartening arrival from Creative planners and it seems this highly rated organization is getting their acts together. They have had lot of promise and Creative Zen, the latest arrival from their pipeline has established that they have the capacity to live up to the expectations. I always thought that user or customer feedback network is essential the success of products which have to cope of with such massive international competetion and their relentless endeavur to achieve technical perfection which can be provided to the international buyers at an affordable price. When I had the first had a look and a feel of Creative Zen it struck me that this was designed to compete with iPods at a reasonable level, being an iPod heater, Creative Zen has hardly meant a threat to the iPod community. In terms of technology and quality...

Review of Creative ZEN
Advantages: reasonable price, looks good, dinky, good battery life, good sound quality. Disadvantages: NONE:)
...i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal...

Review of Creative ZEN
Advantages: Credit Card sized, Good battery life, Excellent Sound Disadvantages: Messy Menu System
...too long on an up to date computer. Though you might want to stop it from installing some of the unnecessary software, unless your a big fan of pod-casts or spoken book audio sites. It's important to note that as it's a fairly up to date MP3 player so it will only run on Windows XP or Vista.
The sound quality is excellent, as Creatives tend to be and has a slight edge over the ipod in that department, as well as volume levels (but only if you want to go deaf), though to get the most of it you'll be wanting to replace the headphones provided. Though sadly that will mean you won't be able to used to radio feature present on the player. A major limitation as it's one of the plus points that Zen's have over Ipods.
Battery life is around 24 hrs at 128kbps, but expect that to be a lot less if you use high quality MP3s.
Sadly there...

Review of Creative ZEN
Advantages: High class processing rates Disadvantages: Navigation and doldrum design again
...CREATIVE ZEN - MX

Zen will creative be creative?

There are not a lot of life patterns you can be sure of; but when it comes to Creatives new MP3 player launch, the same old design pops its mandatory blue-print into the box of blandness. Yes, I?m talking about the so called new ordinary MX. This years silently released epic from the Creative Lab team. The difference with this model is it?s quirky pointless OCD shift that plays with the navigation direction buttons rather than any major bold steps to bridge the gap with Apple?s flying machine the iPod. Creatives efforts are not with simplify design; but with different processors and technology that they feel capture their loyal client...

Review of Creative ZEN MX
Advantages: Small, sleek and lots of features Disadvantages: Buttons could be a bit tricky at first
...I received this device as a gift. I was a little unsure at first as I had never owned any kind of MP3 before. I was very pleasantly suprised to find it very easy to use and that it has unexpected features such as radio, photo and video. Personally I often use this on the train or the walk to work - the sound and video quality is excellent. I have often watched programs downloaded from BBC i Player and the quality is brilliant. The Zen comes with computer software which is very easy to install. You can also use i-tunes with this product, which is very handy.
The only very slight gripe with this product is that I found the buttons a bit confusing at first... although saying that, I didn't read the instructions!
This is a great alternative to an i-pod, personally I think it is better - easier to use and with more features....

Review of Creative ZEN
Advantages: large screen, good battery life, very good sound quality Disadvantages: clicky buttons, can freeze and tricky to reset
...The Creative Zen, in my opinion, is a very good MP3 player which could quite easily give the Ipod nano a run for its money. The sound quality of the Creative Zen, I believe is far superior to that of an Ipod. Although it may not look as impressive, it is a neat looking piece of technology; very sleek and stylish looking. Also, It is neither masculine nor feminine and therefore suits everyone! The Zen also plays videos and again, the quality is good. It has a 2.5 inch screen, larger than the Ipod nano at 2 inches.
The software that comes with the Creative Zen is really good, allowing you to put any file onto your Zen as it converts them for you. A massive advantage, in my opinion, is that the Zen comes with a SD card expansion slot so if you only buy the 4GB Zen, you can increase the capacity at a later date, up to 12GB which is better...

Review of Creative ZEN
Advantages: Sound quality, storage capacity, playback mode Disadvantages: Bulky, Navigation system and pricing
...Design and feel
The Creative Zen Touch is quite a big and bulky mp3 player which has a white body cover, the device is smooth to touch and its got a nice sleek design to it.
The main feature of the zen touch has is its touch-sensitive Touch Pad,
it is easy to use as i have found out as through navigating and scrolling.
It also has a lock switch by the side, so buttons aren't accidentally clicked or pressed which is useful for when your on the move because you'll know that even if buttons are pressed it wont affect the zen. Its quite easy to use due to the simple layout of buttons. A USB 2.0 mini socket which connects to the computer can be used to transfer songs. Like the Ipod's the menu shuffle song can play songs which you have in your library. It is also somewhat heavy and bulky and not ideal for carrying around in your pocket...
Advantages: Sleek appearance. Not an i-pod. Good video capacity. Easy to use. Disadvantages: No case - screen scratches easily. No function to edit playlists without connection to a computer.
...In my opinion the Zen creative is a great alternative to an i-pod. Personally I would rather not use i-tunes as I find it zaps the processing power of my computer so having an mp3 player that doesn't require the apple software is great. Plus it is more unique than having an i-pod.
I think that the sound quality is excellent. Both the computer software and the player menus are really easy to navigate and use. The video quality and screen size on the player itself are impressive considering the small size of the player. Furthermore the player is aesthetically pleasing and the background theme can also be altered so it is possible to personalise the display! I also enjoy the inclusion of an fm-radio function.
The only disadvantages to this otherwise distinctive and well-designed player are:
1) you have to be careful not to scratch...

Review of Creative Zen 32GB

I've always been interested in these types of PMP component packages whether it's a standard screen model, or whether it is HD quality or touchscreen quality. The OLED screen definition is very good, sheer gloss and glamour which is very user friendly; it has a Nokia feel for me; not surprising really as both companies originated in the East and Chinese market before setting their sights on the Western digital market...

Review of Creative ZEN V PLUS
...I was given this from a friend as they wanted to purchase a IPod so I was happy to take this little gadget off their hands and I love this little device.
The look?
This MP3 is so small, just a little bit bigger than the iPod shuffle, comes in black with a blue button (the colours can change depending on the size of memory you get )
How easy is it to use?
I find it very easy and simple to use The Zen turns on at left side and you hold it down and starts up.
There is a small round button on the middle of the Zen and you use this to navigate through the menus. When you turn it on , it's in colour , I think you can change the colour to suit your likes but I haven't figured out how to do this so I keep it on default.
What can it do?
Well stores music clearly and it can also play music videos but the screen is so small it's not really worth...
