...Right then, the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB is a very good player to me. I purchased this mp3+mp4 player just before Christmas and first impressions were great, instruction manual very useful so I got familiar with the player very quickly. There is a lot of software that can be put onto your PC but all I use is the Creative MediaSource 5 Organizer and the Zen V Series Media Explorer. But first you want to go onto the Creative product registration and register your product so your warranty becomes valid. Negatives: To start with, the headphones are a bit big and are like the Ipod headphones which have a very thin stalk on them so can break easily. Mine didn't break because I changed them straight away after realizing the sound quality wasn't very good and the headphones were too big and wouldn't stay in my ears, they kept falling... ...Excellent MP3 Player. Versatile, stylish, easy to use. Bought mine for £63 from Amazon (delivered 48hrs later). Very easy to sync with PC, several software options for managing music, pictures, video and data files. Have mainly used mine for music as with only 2GB memory there is not room for many pictures and videos and the screen is a little small to do them justice anyway. The sound quality is excellent, although I invested in a pair of Phillips headphones which are superior to the ones included with the Zen. The only mild disappointment is that the player can only be charged through the USB PC connection, which takes a little while to charge it fully and needs to be done fairly often if you use the player quite a bit. But all in all I would certainly recommend the Zen V Plus as an excellent MP3 player.... Read review

...I had been looking for a long while for an mp3 player before I decided on this one after a lot of people had said very favourable things about Creatives products. Size: When I got the Zen V plus It was smaller than I had imagined it to be, It's palm sized but for me that was an advantage. it is also very light so very easy to use on the go. Ease of use The software that came with it was very easy to load and use on my computer and it came with what I felt a basic instruction manual. Very easy to use and easy to manage the files on the mp3 player. The mp3 player itself has a very easy to use menu and you can find the song you want fairly easy as you can choose either by all music, artist, song title or type of genre. The way that the songs are stored in the genres section is a bit confusing as some just are not in the right... Read review

...What can I say, I love this gadget!! This is the first MP3 player I have owned and i've had it for a couple of years now. I wanted a good MP3 player that was stylish, not too big, reasonable for viewing pictures. The obvious choice was the iPod nano, but I had already bought a lot of music off another download site which would mean i would have too pay for the music all over again. So i decided to go for Creative and i made up my mind to get the 2GB one Spec.: The 2 Gb version comes in black with green accent or white with green accent. (It also currently comes in a limited edition pink version in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation). It stores music, photos and short videos and has an FM radio as well as acting as a data storage device. It has a large colour screen that can be rotated to be viewed from 4 angles... Read review

...The Creative Zen Stone Plus is the 2Gb upgrade of the basic Stone, and as well as the extra 1Gb of space it has a small LED screen for viewing track information and navigating content, a voice recorder, and FM radio. As a cheap, small, easily portable MP3 player with a large enough memory to stop me from listening to the same songs every 5 minutes this serves it's purpose very well. Pros: - it looks cool; - it holds around 500 tracks depending on their size; - it's tiny; - sound quality and volume are good (even with the radio) - software allows for easy drag-and-drop quick uploads (although once you upload from one folder you can't upload more tracks or browse any until the upload is finished) Cons: - you need to download the software from the internet, so if you don't have a connection you have to risk using windows... ...I love this little mp3 player. I asked my boyfriend to get me an mp3 for xmas but told him that i didnt want an ipod as everyone seems to have them and i dont like the whole itunes thing. And he pulled this little baby out of the hat! I was so chuffed with it. Though infact originally he had bought me the 2gb Zen V (not the plus version) but the screen was a bit dodgy so we took it back to argos and then when looking on amazon the new plus version (it has radio and alarm and the ability to play videos which the normal one doesnt) with 4gb was £2 cheaper than the one her had got so i got that one. I was a little disappointed in a minor way as the 2gb ones are black and green (i am really into my green at the mo) and the 4gb are black and blue. (there are groovy skins you can buy for it though) At the moment i have 500 songs... Read review

...- this was another important feature for me so I can listen to books at the gym. Zencast This piece of software allows you to subscribe to free podcast content under the headings of technology, lifestyle, world affairs, outdoor and entertainment. I have subscribed to a podcast on yahoo & used zencast to transfer it to my player which was easy. Cons 1 Gb will not be enough storage for some people so you could try the 2Gb version or wait for the 4gb version. If you want a radio go for the Zen V plus. Not supplied with a belt clip or armband. I am going to have to buy one from ebay or pixmania as I don't think I can wait for the Creative version to some out. You can also buy mains chargers for less than £10 ( I saw one in HMV yesterday) I havnt covered everything but if I find out something useful I will update my review. Don't think... Read review
