...The Toshiba 32Z17B is a beast of a TV, however saying that, it is of a pretty high standard, has an excellent picture quality to it especially as it’s only a 50 hertz, along with the sound which is Dolby Pro-Logic/Dolby Surround. The TV itself weighs a ton, don’t even bother trying to lift it by yourself, unless you want to slip a disc or something, it also does take up quite some room, so again, don’t bother if you have a small place, unless your focal point is your TV. The TV itself has Nicam, Fastext and a Flat Screen, which I must add is of a high quality. It features 3 Scart sockets at the back along with an RGB output. ...Zenith Windows is owned by the Bowater group. Together with its sister company, Staybrite, both merged together to form, Zenith Staybrite. The company has some fantastic products, and the quality of installation is second to none! Their products are made from virgin grade PVC U, which means they wont fade or discolour, and to keep quality control as tight as possible, its all made in house in their massive Norfolk factory, and then shipped out to local fitting depots, its a large company, with the local touch! Their prices may seem high, but if you bare in mind the extreme quality of the product, the fact your dealing with a long standing and reputable company thats backed by a large international bank, and a warranty that IS WORTH the paper its written on, then perhaps the extra expense is all worth it. ...or doors properly, there was brick dust all over and in the frames, the frames themselves have marks on them that don't come off with soap and water. They put a nice finishing strip down the sides but the mastic along the tops of the frames is ugly to say the least. I didn't notice this until the next day since it was dark the second day by the time they had finished. Reported this to Zenith along with comments as and when they rang to ask if there was anything else because of money they had put aside for us because of other business they had gained from it. Etc, etc, etc ! We had a phone call 5 weeks after the windows and doors had been fitted enquiring as to our interest in replacement windows and would we like to arrange an appointment for a salesman to visit with a no obligation quote guaranteed for two years ! I used Zenith to learn to drive when I was 17, after experience with another driving school which I felt was going nowhere. I was recommended to try Thomas, one of the instructors. My first lesson put me at ease with the car. He picked me up from my house, and was always within 10 minutes of the arranged time. ...On buying our current house we knew that the windows would soon need replacing. Although naturally sceptical, we were impressed by the durability of the product and it's security aspects when the salesman demontrated them to us. There was a wide range of designs to choose from and Zenith were able to accommodate our very large windows. They also replaced all our guttering and down pipes. The work was completed within a week and the finished result was clean and bright. The fitters were polite and swift to do their work and there was minimum diruption. Their system does not use external rubber fillers and is vertually impossible to break into. This was an important feature for us. ...A hellish afternoon at the hands of Zenith!!! My elderly mother made an appointment for a salesman to come round for a simple, no obligation quote for a new porch after a canvasser had called round the day before asking if she would like to get a quote. She asked me to go round as she didn't want to be in the house alone with a strange man, so I went there. The man came in and seemed quite pleasant, if a little lacking in personality. He got out all his books and folders and showed us the doors and windows. My mother chose one that she liked and then we had to fill in a questionare. He then asked her lots of questions about the road and local area, as this will give us a good rating for discounts?? By this time we thought this is a load of rubbish. ...We called Zenith Staybrite for a conservatory quote which was supposed to be "NO obligation" according to Zenith's own words. Unfortunately, the real experience has demonstrated otherwise. First of all, the salesman arrived half an hour late with no apology or explanation. He then spent about 15 mins rummaging in his car for some folders and eventually came in. 5 minutes later he popped out to his car again to get something else. In fact, for the whole first hour he kept on popping in and out of the house because he needed to get something from his car. We tried to be patient. Big mistake. After 2 hours of sales talk and measuring the site for a proposed conservatory, he still hadn't given us any quotes. ...My wife and I were recently taken to court by Zenith because we held back part of our payment for a window they measured incorrectly. We won the case, and I'm not posting this review to complain about them - merely to warn potential customers about the discrepancy that caused us to end up in court. We were building an extension and wanted some windows put into the extension, with one being fitted into a wall in an existing part of our house. That specific window was measured incorrectly by the surveyor from Zenith. Later, they sent us a form to sign and send back to order the windows, at which point we hadn't noticed the surveyor's error.
