...'Flesh Eater', also known as 'Revenge Of The Living Dead' or 'Zombie Nosh', sees the return of the original zombie from the infamous 'Night Of The Living Dead', (he played the lead zombie who first appeared in the graveyard). The actor is Bill Hinzman, and Flesh Eater is his own production. Hinzman co-wrote the screenplay, directed and produced the movie, and also stars as the lead zombie. This film is pretty much your standard teenage horror. A group of young college students spend the night in the woods during Halloween. Nearby, a farmer uproots a large tree stump with his tractor, only to reveal a hidden coffin. Advantages: Amusing for the wrong reasons..
Disadvantages: Cheesy music, cheesy acting, bad special effects

...I got given the film 'Zombie Flesh Eaters' for Christmas about 5 years ago, and I saw 'Zombie Flesh Eaters 2' and 'Zombie Flesh Eaters 3' for sale for quite cheap just after, so I decided to buy them too so I would have the whole collection.. This film is part of the 'Vipco's Screamtime Collection' which is a large collection of films from lots of different directors and time periods which have 'terrified audiences around the world!' The slogan on the back of the dvd is 'The Dead Rise Again'. I have seen other zombie films such as 'Dawn of the Dead' and liked them so I thought that this might be similar and that I'd enjoy it. The dvd has a couple of special features on it. There is a 'Picture Gallery', which shows pictures from the film which you can scroll through with your dvd remote/moouse. Advantages: Cheap, a good tacky horror film
Disadvantages: A bit too tacky for most people I suspect

...Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 is a film from the Vipco Screamtime Collection ('Films that terrified audiences around the world') a claim which I very much doubted somehow. Still, it looked like one of those films that looked so bad it was good and it was only 2.99 so I decided to buy it. As you can see from the picture, the cover is pretty unremarkable, very plain and doesn't really give anything away, although perhaps the title says it all really. I have not heard of any of the actors in this film, nor did I expect to, and checking the filmography on the DVD I didn't even recognise the films they had been in. Although Deran Satarian has directed an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 'Killed by Death' and also an episode of Nash Bridges. ...Just to get off on the right footing Zombie Creeping Flesh as it is known in the UK is a rather ridiculous title given to the movie in a hope to cash in on the success of Lucio Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters (itself a victim of a different name in the UK). The movies correct title is Hell Of The Living Dead and for the duration of this review this is the name I'll refer to the movie as. Of all the Italian Zombie movies Hell Of The Living Dead ultimately has the worst reputation, it has a disjointed storyline and some at times ridiculous action/horror sequences. It also suffers from some of the worst dubbing I've ever seen which probably hinders the movie in terms of reputation. Like many movies the original Italian score is incredibly difficult to find, and when you do find it English subtitles are not available. On the plus side gore... Read review

Advantages: Gore, guts and gratuitous violence
Disadvantages: Not for the faint-hearted

...murdered by a power crazed super computer that controls the base. They find, to their horror, that the dead scientists are up and walking around, and hungry! They also have to face an even more terrifying creature that has escaped a security container. Zombies come in the form of human dead and dogs, which provides some nice action to keep the film cantering along, and Milla Jovovich is the acting highlight of what is otherwise a mass of poor one-liners, unresponsive emotions and a general lack of talent. Overall, i would say that this film is worth a watch if you have a spare night but as for being scared, forget it! 9. ...dodgy, cheap horror movies were an exclusive product of the 1980s, you need to think again. They're still making them now and Stink of Flesh is a prime example. A bizarre combination of gory zombie movie and softcore porn flick, it seems that the film serves only one purpose and that is to shock. Shock tactics never did make a good movie. Stink of Flesh's first problem is the director's apparent lack of skill. The film feels as though it has been filmed by a group of amateur filmmaking buddies who borrowed a camera for the afternoon. The composure is very superficial - no style, artistry or flair, just point and click. This in turn means that there is absolutely no suspense whatsoever as the camera exposes every nasty little surprise looming, long before it hits any of the (allegedly) unsuspecting cast members. ...The US release of this 1979 Italian zombie gut cruncher saw it labelled as 'Zombie', while here in the UK it was gaining notoriety under the title of 'Zombie Flesh Eaters'. Back in Italy, and typical of the exploitative nature of the movie it was released as 'Zombi 2', a sequel to, well, anything with Zombies in. Assembled to cash in on the success of George A Romero's 'Dawn of the Dead', 'Zombie Flesh Eaters' main crime is that it provided Fulci with some much needed publicity. ...for a scare I'd suggest bursting a balloon. But if you are looking for a movie that will make you laugh so hard that your stomach will ache and your cheeks will be soaking wet with tears the Zombie Dead is the movie for you. I won't recommend you do not buy this movie, in fact I believe as many people should see it that can. However what has given me an area of doubt is how to rate this movie, you see I rate it highly as a comedy, but it's not meant to be funny. So how do you rate something like this? I have chosen to rate this as a comedy, because few upon watching this have disagreed that this is the correct category for such a movie. There are no special features included, unless you count the trailers for Psychic Killer, Zombie Flesh Eaters and Shogun Assassin. Advantages: ITS A ZOMBIE FILM
Disadvantages: None unless you have a weak stomach

...This is a brilliant film i own both and can't wait for a third in the series. I LOVE zombie films they are my favourite and over time are trying to collect all zombie films old and new. The only bad thing i can say about this film is that the zombies are not the traditional dumb, slow moving, moaning zombies these have speed so to speak and are quite clever. If you liked the games then you will most certainly like the film as it has most scenes and roleplay as the fist 2 Resi Evil games. If you actually go back and play the games you will be surprised how much they compare. This is a must for any ZOMBIES FANS LIKE MYSELF. The basic story is a virus has been manufactured to use as a bioweapen that turns any already dead people or ones that get infected by it into flesh munching zombies.
