Advantages: Superb Security, the best pc protection I have ever come across

...In my opinion, this is the best all out security package on the market, i have used packages such as norton antivirus, and norton security 2005, and was not impressed with its performance, Zone Alarm, even though takes a bit of setting up and will take a small while to load at computer startup, my computer has been safe, it never gets viruses, unless i download something which containa a virus, and in that case, Zone Alarm gets rid of the virus. It can be easily configured to scan your pc for virus and malicious codes as commonly as you like, i scan weekly on a saturday morning, and any threats are removed, and there are not many, never any viruses, and hardly any spyware, and the spyware that does get onto my pc, is a very low threat and doest really do anything to my pc! I noticed that Zonealarm Internet Security Suite had gotten one or two good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I've seen a few PCs messed up by the free firewall and have memories of constant firewall pop-ups asking for permission for this, that and the next, and so have avoided it as much as possible over the last few years. ...Since I've been using computers I've gone through so many virus scanners and quite frankly found them to be a load of rubbish. This was until I was recommended to try Zone Alarm (ZA). First of I only downloaded ZA pro, the trial. I found this brilliant. For once the virus scanner that I was using actually stopped me from getting viruses. This impressed me so much I upgraded to the product I'm reviewing now: Zone alarm security suite. -=- Cost -=- For around £30-35 you get ZA Security suite and a years worth of updates, which coincidently are very frequent. ...Now i have a problem, i do not know wether to recomend this as a buy or a miss, as a short reveiw.. i will list some features. Mcafee Security Suite 3.0 i think, its main feature would be its PC diagnostic, i wouldn't count on the anti-virus to pick up everything, but i'd well choose it over norton. Mcafee also has an error check, which i have to say was quite clever. Backup feature i didn't like, beacause i did not see the point.. i would back-up my stuff onto a CD. It also had a crash protection which i coudn't work out how it worked, but it seemed to do the job. Mcafee's Firewall is just absoloutly amazing, alot better then Zone alarm, it has a silent mode, and a smarter AI then zonealarm, it tries to check whats "riding" on the ports.. rather then just seeing if the port number is trusted or not. For that money it was worth a try I thought.... It was extremely easy to install, very straightforward, prompts you all the way though from installing, registration, activation and set up/configuration as you would expect, generally easy to use on a daily basis - however on daily use I found some of the features to be annoying......... Several threats got through, even though I check sometimes twice a day for updates.
