Reviews of zoom bluetooth headphones
A mixed bag...
Review of HP Bluetooth Stereo Headphones Headphones by
Guwag
Advantages: Great quality audio, Rechargeable, about 8 hours per charge
Disadvantages: A little heavy, SERIOUS design flaw exists resulting in breakage.
...Bought from Ebay, brand new and unopened
Price: £45 including delivery
HP Branded but manufactured by Logitech.
When my headphones arrived, I opened the package and found a charger and adaptor for the headphones, CD with drivers for palmtop, worldwide plug adaptors for the charger, spare foam pads for the headphones, carry case/bag and of course the headphones.
Unfortunately these headphones cannot be used straight out of the box; they need charging before use and a new Bluetooth stack needs to be installed on your palmtop via the CDrom and your PC.
On the side there are 5 buttons, one in the middle for Play and Pause, then four smaller buttons for Next and Last Tracks, Volume Up and Down.
After setting everything up and charging, I paired the headphones with my iPAQ and it worked straight away. I couldn't believe...

Perfect if you already have a Bluetooth PocketPC
Review of TeamWarrior AA Navigator Bluetooth GPS kit by
kah123
Advantages: good value, excellent GPS receiver, simple to use
Disadvantages: not as sophisticated as other (more expensive) navigation software
...My first satnav kit. This was perfect for me as I already have a PocketPC with Bluetooth (an iPAQ 4700). I bought the bundle from dabs for about £120.
Note that the "display size" score is arbitrary as this kit doesn't include anything with a display - I've based this on the average 3.5" size of a PDA screen.
In the box
1x Holux GR-230 Bluetooth GPS receiver
1x car charger (12V DC) for the GPS receiver
1x USB cable for the GPS receiver
1x SD Card containing software
1x CD*
1x PDA holder kit
1x printed manual (in good English)
* I haven't needed to use the CD at all. I suspect it contains drivers if you connect the GPS to a PC, and electronic versions of the manuals.
Setting up
Very straightforward, insert the SD card and the software automatically installs. There are two options, a minimal...

Blue but lacking in teeth
Review of ZOOM 4312 Bluetooth PC Card Adapter by
grovej
Advantages: Better than a USB Dongle
Disadvantages: Cost and the software is not easy
...My new laptop the HP Pavilion zv6065ea had one feature missing, Bluetooth which I accepted when I brought the machine. So I needed connectivity for my mobile phone and the search was on for a Bluetooth device. I looked at the USB key types which are cheap but protrude, as I wanted something that I could leave in the laptop and didn't protrude a PCMCIA card was the answer this is what led me to the Zoom 4312 Bluetooth card.
-----------The Card-----------
The card is a standard PCMCIA card and fits in a card slot very neatly. There is very little that protrudes outside of the slot, only the blue flashing indicator and the small aerial stub. The card is one of the more powerful Bluetooth devices with a claimed range of 100m, I have not tested this claim, but I suspect by the fact that the card has an aerial that it will achieve a good...

'Must Have' Bluetooth Headset
Review of Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth Headset by
PhaedraUK
Advantages: Very comfortable, good earpiece volume, stylish, many extras
Disadvantages: None that I can find.
...this type of headset as I find them uncomfortable and prefer 'over ear' stereo headphones. The difference here is that the ones with the Discovery are not rigid and are made of soft gel. Three sizes are provided to give a comfortable, secure fit. I'm female and wear the smallest size ☺ Amazingly, the headset feels (and is) very secure. As it only weighs 9g, I've hardly felt as if I'm wearing it and it hasn't felt as if it would fall out. It's extremely comfortable and, once you get used to it, very quick to put on. To be honest, I had to practice putting it on, but then as I said, I'm not used to 'in ear' style anything! It's designed for use without the optional ear loop, but I wear this when cycling and although my running days are over (!), I have no doubt you could easily run using this. It's solid. The in ear design also makes in...

My NY "experience" with Zoom
Review of Zoom Airlines by
adellis
Advantages: Cheap as long as you are not particular and have time to waste
Disadvantages: Too many to mention
...as long as you can trust the planes your flying on - the last thing I want to compromise on is safety but it seems that Zoom were willing to play fast and lose with our lives and not make sure the plane was properly repaired before attempting a flight...very worrying. Yes the planes are old, there is no choice of entertainment, no radio, poorly functioning headphones, old style (ie poor quality) food and lack of customer facing skills by the stewards (who were even complaining about the passengers in offensive language and in earshot when we landed!) - but the general consensus of all passengers was that they didn't want to fly back home with Zoom as they didn't feel it was safe. Needless to say I won't be saving money by flying with Zoom again and advise anyone else not to either....

I'll Bluetooth to you, if you Bluetooth to me!
Review of Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter by
PrincessDi
Advantages: Easy to exchange work to & from Laptop/PC/Mobile Phones
Disadvantages: Small, could get lost.
...Package Includes:
Bluetooth USB Adapter
CD-Rom
User Guide
Quick Installation Guide
System Requirements:
One available USB Port
Windows ® 98 SE, Me, 2000, or XP
Mac OS ® X v10.2 and higher
I bought this because most mobile phones have Bluetooth now, and having a few different mobiles in my house it's easier than installing all the different mobile software to transfer photos to the computer.
I can't actually remember where I bought this, but I think it might have been Argos. I don't remember how much it was then either (a lot of help aren't I!), but currently they are selling at £17.96 on Amazon. Version 2 is now selling in Argos at £15.99. Ebay is a good place to look as prices vary from day to day. You might even find one for 99p!
The installation of this was incredibly easy. The quick start guide is useful, though...

Long in the (Blue)tooth
Review of Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter by
LegendaryMrDude
Advantages: 100m Range, Compact Design, Great Software
Disadvantages: Price
...Bluetooth is one of those "nearly" technologies. You know the ones, they promise to change the way we live and they nearly deliver.
In the case of Bluetooth, the claims were for a wireless "Personal Area Network" that would link up all of your electronic devices and allow them to work in harmony with anything else that you came into range of.
It was on this promise of an easier, automated way of life that I bought my Belkin Bluetooth widget.
Measuring barely 70mm x 20mm x 6mm it's a compact, slimline design that doesn't hog too much space either side of your USB port, meaning you can still use the port next to it should you need to. It doesn't stick out too far from the USB port either, and so doesn't snag too often which is particularly important if you are using it with a laptop! The single LED (blue, obviously) flashes...

Can't descirbe how amazing these headphones are!!!
Review of Sony Erricson W810i Headphones by
cooldude28
Advantages: Sound, shape, materials, Look, Feel, Music Experience, Price
Disadvantages: None
...These Sony Erricson headphones came with my Sony Erricson W810i mobile phone, I was quite impressed with what came with my mobile, as in the past not had much included when I buy a phone and I have got to say I was so impressed, very very impressed with the headphones which came with my mobile phone. The headphone came with things like USB Cables etc, and the cost of my phone was £160 (Jan 07).
The reason I bought a new phone, and this one was so I could take great pictures, and most of all store loads and loads of music, and listen to music on the go. With a previous phone I could not store alot of music, or really use headphones so I was really pleased when I opened the box and saw a phone, and headphones included, also a nice large memory stick to store loads of my favourite tracks on. I knew I would have fun with my new purchase...

Bluetooth... Or long in the tooth?
Review of TDK go blue Bluetooth USB Adaptor by
rickyshah
Advantages: It does what what is says on the tin
Disadvantages: lickle cable
...Right, now this is a review on the TDK go blue Bluetooth adaptor for your PC.
What’s it do, then?
------------------------------
Well, in a nutshell, it enables your PC to access Bluetooth devices.
Right, but my teeth are yellow. What is Bluetooth?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bluetooth is a form of wireless communication. It enables devices (like mobiles and PC's) to "talk" to each other without the need for wires. "Why would you want to do this!" I hear you cry. Well, there are many applications. Imagine a Bluetooth printer - you could connect it to any computer on the fly - or a Bluetooth keyboard - so you can sit on the sofa and type. The reason why I purchased this was that I have a range of Bluetooth enabled mobile phones, and I wanted an easy way to transfer stuff to and from...

Belkin Bluetooth = Beautiful
Review of Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter by
painey
Advantages: Tiny, LED, Protective Cap
Disadvantages: Annoying features installed
...After I purchased my new phone (Nokia 6230i) I needed to be able to transfer info between my phone and my PC, so I headed out to my local comet and picked this up for £10.99. This tiny Adapter (better known as a Dongle) has a USB socket under a protective cap which plugs into any PC or Laptop. It is USB 2.0, but also supports USB 1.1 on older PC's and has a range of 10meters.
Bluetooth is a way of communicating wirelessly, like infra-red or radio waves and is very easy to use, the only problem is it is slightly slower than using data cables or infra-red.
In the package you get the dongle and a CD with drivers (un-needed on XP as it will be automatically installed when plugged in) When the Dongle is plugged in and Bluetooth is on, a small Blue LED lights up on the dongle, which is very helpful. You can turn bluetooth on or off using...
