...A few years ago we planned to go to Canada and cross the Rockies and then cruise to Alaska to celebrate our Ruby Wedding and retirement. But as my husband got voluntary redundancy last October we decided to bring the celebration holiday forward to this summer, why put off something that we can do now! We emailed a travel agent who specialised in Canadian travel and literally said what we wanted and what could they offer. The flight to Calgary and returning from Vancouver was with Zoom. I hadn't even heard of Zoom, my husband said it was a low cost flight. ...and apologetic about the zoom problem, and the same person spoke to all times so I didn't have to explain the problem every time. Top marks to them for this. So this problem aside the camera is still a good buy. The webcam itself is small and compact, it has a swivel head and an eye cover so it doesn't stare at you when you are not using it. It is White and blue and sits nicely on top of your computer monitor, Although I have had to velcro mine down to stop it slipping down the back. This webcam has some good features. You can shoot video and still pictures. Once you have taken video/pics they are stored in the album. (all part of the included software - Logitech ImageStudio) Pictures and video can be resized and saved. It can then be e-mailed on to friends and family if you wish. ...Zoom Panel is another of the online survey sites which I have been using for just over a year. I am unsure as to where I initially found the site but I do think that like Harris Poll it is a site with another set of awful rewards (in fact they are identical). The sign up for the site is as with all of them a simple webform, which after filling in will find an email being sent to your inbox with a survey to help with your classifications (so far so familiar right?). They are run by a company called Market Tools and according to the information at the bottom of my email are based in London. Your password will be randomly generated. The surveys when they are sent to you are sent by zoompanel. The email address you recieve is "yourname"@email.com, as in if you want john123 a name, your email address will be john123@email.com. Pretty simple to remember and tell people really! ...I have not written any ops lately. This is because whenever I have been on the Internet I have been busy making money by clicking e-mails! I haven’t earned enough to retire yet though! I am in about 20 of these paid email programmes and mikes is definitely one of my favourites because you can make more money here than most of the other sites. Mikespaid4email pay you to click emails from advertisers. You Just click the e-mails they send, wait for the timers to expire and get paid! I have been in some programmes that don’t send many e-mails to UK members but with most programmes this not the case because most ads are just sent to all members and are about other paid email programmes. .... So missing my Email desperately I invested less than £25 at Sainsbury’s for an Amstrad Emailer phone (luckily (or unluckily) we actually needed a new phone. I could hardly believe the price when I saw it and had to retake and check the little shelf label to confirm. I recall seeing them in Dixon’s last year for around £50 and thought that was a bargain at the time – so half that price is practically giving it away! As you might suspect with a phone that claims to do so much it is slightly larger than most conventional telephones, and can only sit on a table (not wall mounted). There is a large display screen, on which you can read email, surf the internet etc. It’s on here that you’ll also sort out your address book – another handy feature of the phone (more later). .....:: Amstrad e-mailer PLUS ::.. i will start by saing that the phone is corded and cannot be used while doing other jobs around the house. the reason i started like this is because the phone althou its corded it still needs to be connected to the power socket and cannot be used otherwise, the plus in the name for my opinion is because plus it has to be registred to perate and if you dont accept the terms and conditions of the legal binding of the unit then its money wasted as it cannot be used without a registred user and althou the power is on the unit wont give you a call tone making it impossible to make calls telling you to register to use. althow with this introduction the product doesnt sound to be very good its the actual opposite because the unit is packed fuul of features infact its able to give you the following featuser...
