Zyxel ADSL2+ Wireless Router
Review of ZyXEL Prestige 660HW-61 - wireless router by
chappy81
Advantages: Easy Install, 4-Port & Wireless, Reliable
Disadvantages: -
...If you are looking for a well priced router with all the great features of a more pricey Linksys or Netgear, the Zyxel 660HW-61 is definitely for you.
Firstly, whats in the box : You get the Router with built in 4-port Ethernet Hub and wireless antenna in sleek black. You also get a telephone cable, Power Adapter and an Ethernet Cable for initial setup/wired use. The instruction manual is clear and concise and the included CD is not really neccessary because there are no drivers to install, and all updates can be easily found on Zyxel's website.
Installation is quite easy, simply follow the manual, the basic steps are : Connect the router to the power and Phone line, connect it to a PC with an Ethernet port, and login via the web browser. After this it is a simple matter of putting in your ADSL details and settig up your desired...

TCP and PC's
Review of ZyXEL Prestige 310 - router by
tazorii
Advantages: hassle free networking
Disadvantages: complicated
...The ZyXEL router.
Networking is a great solution if your family has more than two PC's and / or an XBOX © / Playstation 2 ©. If you only have two PC's then a router is not really necessary because with Windows XP © and a crossed CAT 5 network cable (2 network cards) you can quite easily network both PC's with very little Hardware hassle. However, if you have two PC's (XBOX ©/ PS2 ©, then a switch and a ROUTER is a wonderful system.
The ZyXEL © Prestige 310 router was the one I went for. A simple yet functional router. A rectangular plastic box with no fancy design. Straight forward and simple Hardware installation! It came with a user manual, A/C power supply and a RS-232 (com port) cable but no network cable.
Plug the modem into the router and then plug the router into the switch (hub). Finally plug all your PC...

Excellent piece of kit
Review of ZyXEL Prestige 660HW-T1 - wireless router - with ZyXEL ZyAIR G-202 Wireless LAN USB Adapter by
bonzoo_dog
Advantages: Low-cost, reliable, full-featured
Disadvantages: Doesn't look very cool (but who cares?)
...Over the last few months I've tried Wireless ADSL routers from 4 different manufacturers, using 54g wireless cards with WPA encryption.
The Belkin one would randomly refuse to allow 1 or 2 wireless clients to connect.
The Netgear one had very poor range (even though it was supposedly "RangeMax").
The Linksys one would randomly refuse to assign IP addresses to wireless clients after they'd connected.
The Zyxel one just works. Reliably. 100% of the time.
All 4 routers were running the latest firmware.
I even tried the helpdesk services for the other 3 and they all came up with the same irrelevant suggestions ("Try a different channel", "Try restoring the factory defaults", "Try upgrading the firmware") - I ended up wondering if they were all actually written by the same person!
Then I tried the Zyxel and my life...

The Pledge. The Turn. The Prestige
Review of The Prestige (DVD) by
DixieChick10
Advantages: Great charecters, script.
Disadvantages: Not much at all
...From the director that brought us Memento and the two latest Batman films, Christopher Nolan excels himself with this dramatic thriller, The Prestige.
The Plot
The film begins with Michael Caine's character telling a young girl about a magic trick. Each magic trick has three parts, the Pledge, the Turn and then finally The Prestige.
The film follows two starting magicians, Angier and Borden. They start off as good friends but then turn into rivals when Angier's wife is killed in a magic trick that went wrong.
The two spend the film, trying to work out each other's secrets and ruin their tricks, eventually ruining their livelihood.
Borden then however discovers a trick, the ultimate trick. This trick makes Angier loose his mind trying to work out how the hell Borden does this trick.
The Characters
Hugh Jackman...

"Doing a George" at the Prestige.
Review of Hotel Prestige, Bangem, S.W. Cameroon by
k8_lloyd
Advantages: Clean, comfortable and cheap
Disadvantages: None
...Ok, it's a little off the beaten track. (And if you're interested in what a "beaten track" looks like, check out the photo of the main road into Bangem at the time of our visit.) True, it's not a tourist area. But if you should ever find yourself in the town of Bangem in the Kupe Muanenguba division of Cameroon, then the chances are that you'll stay at the Prestige Hotel. For the princely sum of 10,000 CF (Cameroon Francs), equivalent to approximately £10 a night, you can stay here in the area's top rated hotel - we manage to get a bargain price of £8 as we are a group (five of us) and have someone local negotiating for us.
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of town, and is fully equipped with both electricity and running water. True, the electricity is rather subject to availability, as the area is prone to power cuts...

Buffet RC prestige Clarinet
Review of Buffet RC Prestige Bb Clarinet by
musicdave
Advantages: Great Quality and Sound
Disadvantages: A bit expensive
...After starting the clarinet at school i asked for a buffet B12 clarinet for christmas. I kept this clarinet until the last year of my A levels but my clarinet teacher advised me that i needed a new one to progress further. Because of this i then started to try many different clarinets. I tried nearly every model and every make and narrowed it down to a Buffet RC and a Buffet R13. The reason i chose an RC prestige was because of the dark mellow german tone compared to the R13 prestige which gives a brighter french tone.
This clarinet served me well through my degree, i gained a first in major performance with this clarinet and enjoyed every minute of practicing with it. now i am a woodwind teacher i would always tell the pupils to go for Buffet as they make outstanding clarinet. Even the most basic models are well built and sound good...

THE NAVMAN ICN 650
Review of Navman ICN650 by
jsk1977
Advantages: VERY ACCURATE VERY EASY TO USE
Disadvantages: A LITTLE EXPENSIVE NO OTHER Disadvantages
...INTRODUCTION
As a freelance driver i can be just about anywhere from driving local or driving long distance so i chose the option to buy my self a sat nav.
i didnt brealise just how many diffrent types oand models they was out and aftew a long trudge round many shops and a few pubs.. to quench my thurst i decided on the navman 650 and this is my review
This review covers the navman iCN 650 which is the newer model of navman iCN 630 V2.
First it incorporates the new 2004 V3 software. Includes a number of new features like Topographical maps as one. The iCN 650 also has another bonus in that it has complete Western European maps pre-loaded. Unlike the iCN635 which comes with a 128mb SD card, there is an SD card slot available on the iCN 650 but it's filled with a 'bung'. The reason for this is because the iCN 650...

Review of Palm Treo 650 by
ciaotalker
Advantages: Super Quality screen, easy2use keyboard, All in one device, bluetooth, infra, EDGE, lot palm based software.
Disadvantages: No Wi-Fi, low build in memory, so so battery life.
...It is actually one of my dream comes true product, plus something that i have been waiting for some long time. i still remember year ago, when i fall in love with the PalmOne Tc due to it mini keyboard & build in Wi-Fi, BUT later found out so many bad thing of this product plus the so expense price tag so i wait til today, finally a palmOne products that all in one OR what i need.
but i do understand this is not a easy review, as the Treo 650 can do TOO much plus LOT of function that you can do...so if any point that i didn't touch, you can either ask or request me to add later. BUT i will not touch any of the standard PDA or much of phone software here but only some of the point that related or new to Treo 650.

Prestige Glass Kettle- looking cool in my kitchen.
Review of Prestige 50526 by
beleura
Advantages: Easy to monitor boiling, keep warm function, looks cool
Disadvantages: Fear of glass breaking
...The kettle in my home recently broke so my dad told my sister and I we had to get a new one. He gave us a number of features he wanted and after searching we were able to fulfil all of these in the Prestige. They were 1. be able to see how full it is, 2. have a separate base, 3. be quick to boil and 4. have a reasonable capacity.
We bought this Kettle in John Lewis for £39.99 and have found it to very efficient. What attracted it to us was the use of a glass to store the water. This is great as you can see not only how much water is left without having to look inside but since now that I have used it for a while I can tell how soon it will take to boil due to what the water looks and how disturbed it is when its working!
A feature which I feel is innovative as it is on no other kettle I have seen is the keep warm function...

Add some Prestige to your kitchen
Review of Prestige 50527 DECO BLUE 2 Slice by
kaledrina
Advantages: Great colours, toasts well at both ends of the scale
Disadvantages: Paint chips easily
...After painting our kitchen about 18 months ago we decided to get some new appliances as the old ones were just about ready to go to Kitchen Heaven. We spotted the Prestige range in our local Debenhams as it tends to stand out like a sore thumb amongst the rather drab black and grey kettles and toasters; with such vibrant colours such as almond, brick red, green and duck egg blue we knew we had to get a few things to go with our newly-pistachio coloured walls. We decided on a toaster and a kettle in Duck Egg Blue; I’ll be focusing on the toaster for this review.
The toaster has a lovely enamel-style coating and is an average size for a ‘two-slicer’. It has a defrost button, temperature setting, cancel button and a crumb tray. If you’re like me and you like toast to be basically just shown the toaster you’ll like this device. On some...
