Dell A940 All-In-One Printer
Review of Dell A940 All-In-One Printer by
melsabout
Advantages: Excellent Print Quality and speedy
Disadvantages: Cost Of Ink Cartridges
...The overall look of the printer is great. It is silver with dark grey trays and I feel it fits perfectly into a modern home office, although it is a slightly bulky size.
I have found this printer very easy to use, it connects to the PC through a USB Port. For straighforward printing it is pretty fast and produces a high quality print out.. For photocopying (which can colour or black and white) with a simple press of one button. There is also the facility to send send faxes which is simple to use. The fax facility is not used through a phone line, it is operated through the PC's modem once the user has scanned the document into the all-in-one. I have found this to be suitable but if you wanted to fax large documents, I imagine it could be very time consuming.
The scanning facility is very quick compared to our old scanner...

THIS PRINTER DOES IS ALL, EXCEPT THE WASHING UP
Review of Epson RX620 All-in-One Printer by
newkyjas
Advantages: it does absolutely everything, and very well
Disadvantages: A little bit on the large side, but it is an All in One Printer
...be a 3 month wait!!!, Surely this cant be just because its Christmas, a quick call to Epson helpdesk revealed that the RX600 doesn't exist anymore, its been super ceded by the RX620, Epson assured me they would be in the shops early January.
True to there word, PC World had them in late January, and off I went with my Christmas money, and purchased one of the biggest boxes I have every seen containing a Printer, whilst in the shop I even helped out an elderly couple who were getting forced into buying a printer they didn't want, they went home with the RX620 also.
Unpacking the printer, I couldn't wait, after approximately 5 minutes I had the printer out of the box, safety tape etc removed and it was plugged in raring to go.
Epson state this printer is a "standalone all-in-one home photo centre to meet the requirements of photo...

One for all and all for one!!!
Review of HP PSC1355 All in One Printer, Scanner & Copier by
Luckyfriend
Advantages: 3 in 1 uses!!
Disadvantages: Size!
...Didn't want to mess about having loads of different machines hooked up to my laptop, (it is supposed to be portable, Ha!) so went to PC World on a mission to find a machine that did it all in one.
We didn't get there till 5.15pm so only had 15mins to get what I was looking for, as I was determined to go home with a printer so I could have a play with it on the evening. (Saturday nites can be rubbish on tv!)
There was a whole bunch of 3 in 1 printers on sale, at various prices. I ended up with HP psc all-in-one, printer. scanner. copier. It was on special offer aswell!
This is a smart, looking, silver casing piece of kit. Printer, scanner and copier all included. With the bonus of photocard slots also, for printing off those much loved photos without the use of a computer. On opening the packaging, the printer is supplied with...

Lexmark All-In-One - why not?
Review of Lexmark P3150 All-In-One Photo Printer by
borninblood
Advantages: Styish, compact, everything you need.
Disadvantages: Sluggish, resource hungry.
...support Lexmark provide for both this printer and all thier hardware, a good website with all the latest drivers and updates for almost everything they make.
Uses of this All-In-One printer.
Printer
The actual printer is an ink jet, the major downside to it is pretty sluggish and resource heavy, ink seems to run out of it like no ones business and no matter how I set up the printer, it constantly takes it time when printing even the smallest document. For me this is fine as I very rarely print pictures from my computer and am in no rush for printouts when I do need to print. But the slowness would drive some people up the wall.
The feeder tray for the printer works great and I have not once had a paper jam in it (A rarity!) it only supports A4 and smaller sized paper, but being honest, if you needed A3, you would be needing...

HP all-in-one
Review of HP PSC1355 All in One Printer, Scanner & Copier by
davidjp1990
Advantages: Does three things in one!
Disadvantages: Size, weight and noise
...I have used this printer for 2 years now and I must say I am impressed with it. Everything with this printer is really good; I even got it with a special offer. It prints everything is great quality including photo's.
There are 3 cartridges to choose from and their approximate cost:
HP 56 black print cartridge £7.50
HP 57 tri-colour print cartridge £10
HP 58 tri-colour photo cartridge £13
It says you can print up to 450 pages with one black cartridge but I get on average 300 pages.
The printer works through USB (both USB 1.1 and 2.0 compatible) to transfer photos and documents to the printer at high speed.
The scanner is one of the best I’ve seen. I have even compared an original copy and a scanned copy and I could not tell the difference, and its soooo easy, just put the paper...

A great all in one printer
Review of Hewlett-Packard 7310 All-in-One by
lozloz
Advantages: Can do every thing you could ever want it to
Disadvantages: None
...We’ve had our HP Officejet 7310 all in one for a couple of years now and it has all the features you could possibly need.
Fax, Photocopier, scanner and photo printer.
We purchased ours a couple of years ago from Staples for ₤310.99 and have had no problems with it ever since.
Ease of use
***********
Because it is an all in one it can be a bit difficult to use at first but I soon got used to it. The most difficult part is setting it up.
Looking at the machine from left to right you have the scan buttons the fax options then the dialling pad followed by the copy functions and last the photo print options. It has a port so you can connect you camera directly to the machine or insert you memory card.
Quality
*******
It is made of solid hard wearing plastic and we use it everyday and have had no problems with it. The print...

Fast, easy to install and use All in One printer
Review of Dell A920 Multifunction Printer by
TheJudge1979
Advantages: Colour and Black Printer, clear scanner, copier and fax
Disadvantages: Fax needs a special software and ink cartridges do not last long
...Using DELL A920 ll-in-One printer is so easy, the installation is strightforward and all supported by a lot of help and support documents and user manuals. It also have a Dell Printer Solution Center which is a small piece of Help and support software installed with it.
The user manual or as they call it the owner's Manual and the software provided are great as they include step by step tutorials, simple instructions and presented in 5 different languages.
All you need to copy or scan is press a button and there you go. It's fast, clear and strightforward. The printer can stay off and as soon as you hit Print in your computer, it switches itself on which I think it is great but it stays on afterwards until you switch it off yourself. If I was to re-design it, I would include a timer of switching it off after finished using it. I...

HP PSC 1215 All in one printer/scanner/photocopier
Review of HP PSC1215 Printer by
Kingkarliii
Advantages: Its 3 in 1 so you don't have loads of cables everywhere
Disadvantages: None
...About 2 years ago I decided it was time to update my printer and after scanning around for some bargains I decided that the HP PSC 1215 would be the one for me. It was just what I needed a printer/scanner and copier all in one with a free 3.1 MP camera chucked in to seal the deal.
Style and Design
------------------------
The printer is a silvery-grey in colour and looks a bit like a breezeblock. The scanner copier is situated at the top and the paperfeeder is located at the front. There is also a LED display on the top with a group of buttons.
Physical Specifications
--------------------------------
Height - 6.68 in (16.97 cm)
Width - 16.76 in (42.57 cm)
Depth - 10.20 in (25.91 cm)
Weight - 9.50 lbs (4.31 kg)
Printing Quality
---------------------
I find the quality quite good when printing out documents...

Brilliant printer - Lousy software
Review of Hewlett-Packard C7280 All-in-One by
grahamft
Advantages: Superb quality printing and you get scanning, copying and faxing into the bargain
Disadvantages: Poorly designed management software
...It has to be said that I have something of a love-hate relationship with HP products. I've used several over the years and although some have proved to be a successful acquisition, far too often I just have had that niggling feeling that they are over-priced and that always there is something that just does not do what it should be expected to do. Nowhere is that more true than in the case of HP printers, especially where their replacement ink cartridges are concerned.
Over the years we have had several printers, not all HP. Some still roll on giving great service. Probably that is most true of my little Canon BJC-85, that I've had for years. It's a portable and combines in one machine a colour printer, a black-and-white printer and a document scanner, simply by swapping the print heads. It's by no means a bulk printer; the cartridges...

How to save a frtune on running your inkjet printer (nearly all makes!)
Review of All Inkjet Printers - All Inkjet printers by
travel-expert
Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: see text
...It is all very well getting a good printer for around £75, but you could have spent more than that on Epson (or other make) cartridges by the time you have colour printed 4 reams of paper (4 replacements).
First tip: print in black, even for colour stuff, when you are just doing drafts.
Second tip: if you must buy cartridges, get the compatibles - they contain the same amounts of ink but are less than half price.
Third tip: be brave, refill them! Go to http://www.inky-fingers.co.uk/
and they will send you a free guide book. If you want to experiment, order the £3.99 syringe of black ink - it comes with instructions, needle, ink, everything. It is less than one tenth of the cost of Epson Cartridges....
