I wanted to stencil my kitchen walls with something that matched the rest of the decor. It was a shock to me to see the prices that were being charged for stencil kits in the shops, so I decided to make one of my own. This might sound like something to come off Blue Peter, but you need a computer and printer, (if you haven't got one, then this can work out quite expensive!!), a piece of stiff paper / card, sellotape and some scissors. I found a picture in one of my programs and silhoetted it. I then covered the front and the back of the card in sellotape, and then cout out the silhoette. Simple. It lasted a good few times when I was stencilling, and if it had gone limp I'd of printed it again.
