Superdrug.com is Superdrug's website and in my opinion it's pretty good. Superdrug is a really popular personal care shop and is much cheaper than some of its rivals (although slightly more expensive than Wilkos and Savers). The website is well laid out with special offers on the front page. The website also has special webdeals which arn't available in store. I like the front page of this site as its really bright and colourful not drab and boring ... ...other sites, its busy but not overpowering. I like the fact that Superdrug do free delivery for orders over £35. I think this is definately a doable amount and lots of shoppers will qualify for it. The seach facility on the home page is really useful if you're looking for a product quickly. I placed an order with superdrug a few days ago at 10am i paid for the express delivery @ £4.50 which is more than i paid for my hardwood flooring to be delivered which was £0 and it managed to come next day no problem! I got an email at 3pm saying it had been despatched ok fine so next day i stayed in all day waiting for this delivery it gets to 5.20pm still no sign i called the CS number on the website to be told to wait till 6pm it was now 8pm ... ...be taken from my p&p as it hadn't come on the day i'd paid for however no one got back to me for days! if this is how their express system works then i dread to think how their standard delivery works would i be waiting till xmas to get my things?? i wouldnt recommend the site and also poor communication between superdrug and its customers if they couldnt deliver on the selected date a phone call or email would have done as i sat in all day with ...

About one month ago I recieved an e-mail from Super Drug on-line telling me that they were no longer accepting orderes via the internet. This I feel is a great shame and a let down to the company but business is business and you have to make a proffit. This is one service I will miss.

I am not normally one for shopping on-line, but I needed some vitamin tablets and other stuff from Super Drug and working ... ...town. I thought I would try out their on-line shopping facility.

THE SITE
Superdrug.com is a well laid out site, easy to navigate around and with a decent search function to help you find what you are looking for. The site is designed around the dark blue and white company colours – nothing fancy, but as this means the site downloads quickly then I think that is actually a good thing. You may browse for items by category (such as holiday, skincare, supplements) or by brand – prices and quantities ... ...also pleased to find that superdrug.com include free samples with their orders, a very pleasant touch. These samples include sachets of moisturiser, foundation and shampoo, and packs of “holiday size” products such as body spray and hair gel – this is a great way to try out new items for free, and really softens the blow of the delivery charge! :-)
