Swapitshop is a great website for kids and teenagers, which allows you to bid on products using a virtual currency called Swapits.

****How do I gain Swapits?****
You first set up an account and recieve a small number of swapits. You use the add a swap button and put anything they don't want onto the websites, by adding it to the relevant product category, and choosing the type of product that it is. You are able to set a minimum starting price, and a close now price(which ends the auction straight away) The product gets added after a few minutes.

****What are Swapits Worth?*****
Swapits do not have a value in money, but if you send in a playstation 2 game for example you would expect between 1000 and 6000 swapits, whereas if you sent in a pencil or some stickers you would expect between 50 to 250 stickers. The more expensive the item is in real life, the more swapits your likely to get, there isn't like an exchange rate for them though. Swapits have no cash value.

*****How do people bid?*****
Everyone uses their own swapits to bid on products which they like the sound of. They can search for products using the search box. They bid the amount of swapits that they are willing to pay, and can return each time they are outbid, to place a higher bid.

*****How do I send my swap in?*****
After the auction has ended, you will recieve an email telling you whether your swap has been successful or not. If it has then you will be sent the address whjch you should sent the swap to. You will send the swap to the swapitshop post room, which then forwards your stamps onto the winning bidder. This is great because its very safe, and the only thing that other people find out about you is your member name and number. You will also be required to write your member and transaction number on the front of the packaging. You must add stamps to the front of the package, then additional stamps of the same value to the back of the packaging, that will be used to send the swap to the winning bidder.

*****When will I get my swapits?*****
You will get your swapits up to three days after the swap has been recieved. If you send your swaps in within 5 days of the auction closing you will get 15 extra swapits, and extra member rating points.

***What can I bid on?*****
When you recieve your swapits you can bid on almost any type of product that you want. There is everything from books, computer games, soft toys, trading cards, sweets, mobile phones and accessories, jewellary and lots more. When you bid your swapits will be removed from your account, and will only be added if you are outbid, or the other user doesn't send the swap in. You can check your bids by logging in, to see if you are still winning the item.

****What do I think?****
I think that this is a great site for kids and teenagers, because it is a great way to trade your unwanted things for things thyat other people don't want. I really like the currency of swapits which are used instead of money, so bank details/credit card details are not used at all! You can bid on anything you want, and sometimes there are promotions where companies atheir products, which is great, because they are brand new!
Yopu can also earn extra swapits by filling in surveys.
I have won items from the auctions that include pc games, playstation games, chocolates, perfume, books, and many other great things. The website is very easy to use. I would definatly recommend it!!!

Aswell as stuff to bid on, there are also great competitions for you to enter, to win great prizes, I don't enter them often, but from those I have entered I won a power rangers toy and a rayman 3 pc game! This site is amazing!
