I have become an experienced e-mail user. I have had a computer for over two years now and am coming to understand how the computer and the internet works.
Since i have been on-line i have used the following e-mail providers, talk21, hotmail, yahoo, rocketmail and contactbox. Although i didn't use rocket mail to its full potential i came to understand that there was nothing whatsoever good about it compared to talk21.
This opinion takes a brief look into why i like talk21 the best. Firstly i would like to compare it to hotmail. This was the first account that i opened up because everyone raved about the oportunities it provided. Well, more like didn't provide. I wanted to call myself by my name, but being so popular it was already taken. I don't know if anyone is the same but i like a simple name without lots of underscore or numbers so i had to choose and unusual name with lots of numbers. On the other hand when i came across talk21, i wrote my namein and it was accepted straight away. Mayybe because it is unpopular or because it is not very well known. But that pleased me.
Contactbox, provides generally a very well organised service, your contacs are listed in alphabetic order, the site is easy to find your wany around but the amount of memory that is allowed is limited and the site is slow. It takes about 2 minutes to load up into your inbox with a 56k, v92 modem which is slow. Talk21 on the other hand comes up with your messages recieved from the very first page which means no clicking to find out who has e-mailed you and when. It just tells you straight away. Talk21 also allows a reasonable amount of memory when sending messages.
This site, ciao, raves about yahoo, but personally i don't think it is very good. It takes a long time to get into and once again there are several options before finding your mail. It is also very popular meaning that most names are taken.
An added feature that talk21 has is it allows you to send text messages at no extra cost which in my opinion is helpful incease you wan to get hold of somebody quickly.
I rate talk21 the best service i have found yet and i think you should experiment to find out which one you think is most suitable for you.
