I love designing web pages and when I first started I knew no html or what to do. I searched around the various sites to build free web pages and the one that most impressed me I found at www.talkcity.com
You will need to sign up with a user name and password so you can log in and answer a few questions.
Then all you have to do is go to the build a web site part and it will give you a choice of using html or not. Of course I picked not.
It will guide you along step by step. You can add pictures, add music, even videos. There is a place to fill in your favorite links and all your personal information.
They have a wide choice of backgrounds and from what I have seen on other sites some of the nicest looking ones. You can choose your text and the color, have your e-mail link on it and even a guestbook and counter for the number of visits.
I have made many pages there and really it is so easy and quick you won't believe it.
You can go back in and edit as often as you like and keep it up to date. A good way of getting more views is to link to your friends sites and have them link back.
You can even list your writing sites and get people to come read your opinions.
While your there check out the many other things this site as to offer such as chat rooms, e-mail, news, you name it and they have it. I have been using them for years now and never had a problem with the site being down and it runs quite fast.
So if you don't know html or are just starting or even are an old hand at it and need a page quick this is the place to check out.
