Males Heaven!!
Advantages Full On Sport!
Disadvantages It's Commercial So You Do Get Adverts
Talksport radio, was the UK's first completely sport radio station, and it's amazing!!
Whether it's listening to how your teams getting on, on a saturday afternoon, or how England are doing in cricket series from all across the world, talksport radio is commited to all sport.Currently, talksport have had many famous cricketing names commentating in te West Indies watching England thrash them, with every single ball if you are listening online, as you can't get it on 1089am, as foottball usually takes priority on a saturday.
It has updates from every single sporting event on, plus regualr football call ins, from usually very disgruntaled fans, which is quite amusing because the presenter always gets in an arguement with at least one unhappy caller, who is having a bad day with the way their team had played. On the website, there are plenty of things to do. You can enter competitions, and suprisingly all of the prizes aren't just beer or porn, but range between trips to Florida, video games and lots of others. Also on the site there is an in depth section on all of the radio shows and their presenters.
Online there is a shedule for the station, from the current day, for the next 6 days, from 12AM 'til 10PM. They also have daily votes, and chances to email the studio and perhaps have it read out on the air.The only problem is, it's not only the UK's first sport dedicated radio station, but it's also the UK's number one commercial radio station, so from time to time you do get annoying adverts that tend to repeat themselves, an like me if you listen to cricket for hours upon end, then you start to learn them off by heart (god how I need a life..).
So, if you love sport, get bored on your way home from work, or at home on a Sunday afternoon with nothing on tele, then listen in on 1089AM, or online at www.talksport.net. It's truley excellant, trrust me!

What's it like for first division football - I'm yet to find a good medium for that. Nice op. Marc
