What is the Taste Card? It is a card that allows you to get 2 meals for the price of 1 (across all courses ordered) or 50% of your food bill at more than 4500 participating restaurants across the country including popular chains like ASK, La Tasca, Cafe Rouge, Prezzo, etc, and I often get emails telling me that new restaurants are joining the scheme. The Taste Card, formerly the Taste London Card, is a discount card available to use in over 5,500 restaurants across the UK. It offers either 50% off your food bill, or 2 for 1 on meals. Annual membership is advertised on the website as £69.95 but there are always deals to get membership for as little as £29.95. I really enjoy eating out and am always visiting different cafes and restaurants all the time so it makes sense to take advantage of any special offers offered to me. So three months ago when I saw the Taste Card advertised on a website for a 3 month free trial I snapped one up straight away. Got my Taste card on offer (about £30) and already asked for next one for christmas as it's such a good deal. We usually go at weekends (usually Sunday but some available on Saturdays) Tastecardscan be ordered from tastecard.co.uk website which shows you all the restaurants included, how to use it and offers a 30 day free trial which I would recommend as they then offer you a lower price for the card (usually price £69.95) if you want a years subscription. Having been a member of taste card for the past 12 months i can honestly say i think taste card is a total waste of money,most resturants i visited had the offers on anyway so people who didnt have tastecard got the same discount i did without having to fork out the £30,the only thing taste card gives you is a list of places that run 2 for 1's or discounts but with a little research on the web you can find it out for yourself anyway.
