...around the supermarket. That's where Tesco.co.uk comes into it's own and for me becomes a service that is not only quick and convenient but also allows us to spend more time together as a family instead of wasting our time off trawling up and down the aisles on a Saturday morning and then queuing until the afternoon. I was first drawn to Tesco online by an advert I read in a money saving forum about money off when you spend at Tesco online at the ... ...that I can safely recommend Tesco.co.uk to anyone considering using the service they have been great for us and I have not heard anyone I know complain yet.

Advantages: cheap books, fast service Disadvantages: must have a clubcard to sign up
Tesco - not a name one would usually associate with books is it? Well its the summer holidays and I thought I'd better make an effort to get some of the books on my reading list for next year before everywhere is out of stock! ( Yes I'm quite the eager student aren't I?)LOL Well after a few weeks of scouring the net and inputting details in various price comparison search engines I came across Tesco's book ordering service as it appeared to be the ... ...trusty price comparison results. The website claims to undercut Amazon by 10% and when I saw the savings I would make I jumped at the chance to sign up and order. All those student sites offering discounted books couldn't match the prices Tesco was offering.
Ok well I s'pose I should tell you about the site itself.
Ordering books is just one of the features of this site. As you'd expect, online grocery shopping is the main feature. The main page ...

Advantages: great Product range, quick efficent service all round Disadvantages: -
When I started to use the internet, I vowed never to buy anything online, but oh, how temptation finally got to me, and I decided to give the shopping lark a go. I am especially fond of DVD's and Videos, and after using easyvalue.com to compare prices, I was surprised that quite often, Tesco's would come out as one of the best.
When I ordered my first C.D I was pleasently surprised, The web pages are well set out, with additional information on ... ...about their delivery charge, which at £1.75 is cheaper than many other stores, their overall product range is excellent, Just this morning I ordered the new Bob the Builder christmas special, for just £8.99, compare that to woolworths who wanted £11.99 and Blackstar who wanted £11.29 I made a good saving, As soon as you have entered all the details of payment and address, you get an e-mail confirming your order.
Delivery itself is also very good, ...

I read an op on Tesco.co.uk yesterday on caio.com applauding it’s delivery and DVD/CD service. Well, here’s the other side. Firstly, tesco.c.uk isn’t a site that I would normally use to order a CD since there
are so many specialised sites but I did. It was a decision I was going to regret. I ordered a CD for £8.99 and the delivery charge was £1.75, the delivery was good it was quick and I got my CD within four working days. So, ... ...received my bank statement when I was shocked that it had charged me three times the amount of the CD. It was very expensive CD. I remained calm and sent them an e-mail explaining the situation, I waited for a reply and got a reply two weeks later, which I wasn’t happy with. At first they weren’t that helpful it was only after five or six e-mails repeating myself to them, they realised what had happened.
I could accept simple mistakes ...

Advantages: Delivery to your door, good customer service Disadvantages: Sometimes forget or don't have products in stock, drivers seem rushed
We are a household with no car and with the nearest tescos over a mile away, it is hard to get bulky things like cat food, water or cat litter delivered to your door in any large quantity. This is where tesco excels. The delivery charge is no more than the cost of a taxi or bus up there and I am sure it is cheaper than getting a car. Living in an age where fuel prices are on the rise, I think that online shopping like this will become more popular ... ...are some downsides to shopping online for groceries. First of all you don't know if you'll get the bashed tin. Secondly, you cant get the fruit and veg you want (without this or that black spec, with more red on, the biggest one in the box) and finally the best before dates are - I suspect - chosen against you (so you get the ones likely to die sooner). Tesco specifically are very good, in my experience, with delivery. However, there have been some ...
