Having an active 3 year old and several stressed out shopping trips, I took to ordering my shopping from Tesco's online and have not looked back since. Therefore I think it's about time I gave my views on this essential service for our house.

Advantages: Convenience Disadvantages: Don't always get what you want
I first used Tesco home delivery when I was too ill to go to the supermarket myself. In principle it IS a good idea although using it and getting what you want isn't so good.
The average delierry cost is about £5 it's cheaper if you opt for late at night for example between 9pm and 11pm and more expensive at weekends or tea time. The site itself is does take some getting used to. I find I have to write a detailed list of the items I need otherwise ... ...You also need a knowledge of the metric system, you can't buy 3 tomatoes for examples you need to buy by weight or pack.
I find it good to look through all the offers first, the multi-buys, buy one get one free's etc.. this way you can get the cost of delivery back, if you know what I mean?!
You can have it delivered either in carrier bags or not and the driver will bring your items into you kitchen if you wish. If you choose the carrier bag option ...

Advantages: Some shopping gets delivered Disadvantages: Mouldy fruit. Little attention to fulfilling your order
We sometimes shop at Tesco and decided to give their home delivery a try. It was a disappointing experience.
Their website worked OK once we switched to Internet Explorer. As we prefer Firefox that was one small black mark to Tesco. The big black marks occurred when our shopping arrived.
There were an unacceptable number of substitutions and (unlike Asda) the substitutions were made at our expense. We ordered Napolina canned tomatoes at half price. ... ...Tesco’s regular price. Some of their other substitutions were inappropriate and whoever did our shopping didn’t take much care. We requested a pack of cherry tomatoes. At least 6 of them were VERY obviously mouldy. We received a bottle of vodka complete with security tag - it looks like we stole it! I ordered 3 bottles of beer for £4. One bottle wasn’t available but they didn’t offer a substitute thereby canceling the 3 for £4 offer. I could go on. ...

Firstly you need to go to ***www.tesco.com***
(I find the site easy to navigate and is in tesco's traditional blue and white colours, nothing fancy but it's all it needs to be.)
Here you will find several ... ...Telecoms and More. As this review is about my grocery shopping, I will only describe my experience with that one. Ok, so point to Groceries and click.
The next screen I see is asking me to sign in. As I am already registered, my email address is in the box with a box underneath for my password, below which is a sign in box which upon clicking will sign me in. But for now I will try to explain the registering procedure. ***Registering***
