Advantages So much choice on a screen before my eyes.
Disadvantages They won't accept my orders off the 'net.
Ever since Tescodirect first started I have been waiting for our nearest store (Penzance) to offer this fabulous service to the Isles of Scilly. You can send them a Fax with your order on and they will box it up and send it happily, but try and use the internet and you can't get past their electronic bouncers!!
A mile down the road from Tesco's is Iceland, they offer a full service on the net and are always helpful and friendly towards the islanders. Surely Tesco with all its financial might and size could get its act together and offer this service to a place where the residents can't just jump in a car and pop to the shop.
Tesco must been the first supermarket to offer this home service which I guess has been running for 5+ years now, when it first started I wrote asking if they would extend it to include the Isles of Scilly and they indicated that they would be looking to cover many areas outside of London, I wonder just how far they have got with that coverage?

Sorry for the unhelpful rating but your opinion tells us nothing about tesco.com other than it is not available in your area! It's a bit tricky to write about a service you haven't used! ;O)
