Most people on the internet now about market research websites that reward you for taking part in there surveys but people either don't know what sites to join or are worried that the site is not a legitimate site. Thats what I think provides a service for companies that want to no what people think about there product or service. They do this by giving out surveys to its members who then fill the survey in. When enough people have filled in the survey thats what I think analyze all the results of the survey and hand them back to the company wanting the survey done.
Many people believe that companies are not bothered about what us the consumer thinks but they really are and companies around the world spend millions of pounds every year to see what the consumer thinks. They do this to see if there are areas where they can improve their product or market their product in a different way.
Thats what I thinks surveys are all around the television, radio, music and music industries. This is a really good thing with the site as this means the surveys are fun to do. Whether you are rating music or watching a trailer for a new upcoming movie the surveys are never boring and are easy to do.
Thats what I think is completely free to join which is great as I believe as do many that you should never pay to share your opinion. To join the site all you do is go to there website which is thatswhatithink.co.uk. Click on the bit that says register. Here you will see a screen that all you have to do is fill in basic questions about yourself. There nothing to personnel, just your name, email address, what type of internet connection you have, whether you have a car etc. To join this site you need to have a email address. To join any market research site you need to have email address. This is because this is how they will communicate with you and send you surveys.
When a survey is avaliable from that what I think, they send you an email saying what the survey is about and how long roughly it should take to finish. To start the survey there is a link on the email, click on this link and the survey should begin. Before each survey there is always a screener to see if you are eligible to take part in the survey. The screener consists of questions such as age and what country you live in. Nothing to hard. If you are the target audience the survey is looking for then the survey will begin if your not it will end and say that you are not eliglble to take part in the survey.
I believe that people should participate in online surveys so as they have a influence the way we live and to have their opinions heard. It’s also nice to be rewarded for doing so. Thats what I think rewards you for taking part by rewarding you with different online vouchers. The vouchers avaliable are for amazon.co.uk, cd-wow.com, firebox.com or you could even donate your reward to charity.
Each survey you take part in rewards you with a different number of opinion points. Opinion points are what you need to earn your reward. A £5 Amazon voucher equals 1500 opinion points. Normally a survey that lasts between 15-20 minutes long equals 500 opinion points. This does change sometimes, as you can be rewarded 600 opinion points for a survey of the same length. A £5 voucher can easily be made within only three surveys completed.
The only downside I have with the site is the frequency in which the surveys come. I maybe get only two a month if I'm lucky. If the surveys came more frequent this would be a one of the best survey sites out there. Good thing with the surveys is that they are fun to complete so when they do come you enjoy it. I am a member to survey sites where the surveys come more frequent but are boring and long to do and don't pay you as well as thats what I think does.
When you first sign up as well you also recieve 500 opinion points for doing absoloutely nothing. Also the same with other sites there of course is a refer a friend program. This is a good way to earn extra opinion points. I think you get something like 20% of what your friends’ total points equal in the first 30 days.
To join the site all you have to be is over the age of 13 years of age.
All information you give to thats what I think is held confidentially by them and is not shared to any other third parties. They also have a very good customer service that get back to you within a couple of days of you contacting them. You contact them by email.
Overall
A really good site market research site but the fact that you don't receive many surveys lets it down a lot. What makes up a bit is that the surveys you recieve pay well. If they came more often this site would be a lot popular then it is now.
Rating
6 out of 10
I gave this a poor rating solely for the fact of the frequency of surveys. If I begin to get more a month then this will go up and be near the nines and tens.
Advantages: Good incentive per survey, Amazon vouchers, Quick payout Disadvantages: Few Surveys Sent
I found 'Thats-What-I-Think' when I was looking for good paying survey sites and I gave it a go... It is free to sign up so I did, verified my email address and waited for surveys. Compared to other sites, Thats-What-I-Think surveys are rare - few and far in between. Since joining in April 2008, I have completed 6 surveys. However, the surveys from the site are interesting and mainly about movies and what's on at the cinemas, TV shows or music and ... ...and have not had any issues qualifying for the surveys. Each survey I have completed has been worth about 500 points with one short survey being 100 points. The site also pays you a bonus of 500 points to get you started when you sign up. 1500 Points on Thats-What-I-Think is the minimum required to order a £5 Amazon Voucher. This is sent to you via email soon after you request it. I have been paid once previously on the way to a second payout. I ...
