Advantages: non Disadvantages: bad customer service, didn't recieve goods - am yet to receive a refund
I ordered a bookcase from the kids window and was given a delivery date of 10 working days - a month later and i am still waiting!!
I repeatedly called customer services and they kept taking my number and saying some one will call me back - no one ever did. Finally I called and made sure I took the persons name - some one called Stacey - who said that the bookcase was out of stock but was due in on Thursday and would be delivered at the beginning ... ...Thursday and then called chasing - some one as usual said they'd call me back - no one did, I called back again spoke to Stacey again who told me that the bookcase was due in the following week!! I told that it was supposed to be delivered beginning of that week and she had the cheek to say "I don't know who told you that - cos its not in the system" - where by i said "actually YOU told me that!" - she was flummoxxed - in the end I asked for a refund ...

Advantages: Better quality than I could get in the shops (which is almost impossible to find anyway). Disadvantages: I can't think of anything negative - sorry
I've bought all sorts of stuff from the kids window over the past 6 years and I must say they've never let me down yet! I used to buy lots of different clothes but just recently have also started to buy some furniture (including a great car bed for my son) and have always been happy with what I received. Whenever I've sent something back I've had a refund straight away, and on a couple of occasions when cancelling orders before delivery they've always ... ...and given me my money back without a problem. the last lot of stuff I bought was some sun protection clothes and sunglasses for my kids (2 and 8) . I was delighted with it all, and thought it much better than the similar clothes I've seen in some London stores. ...

TheKidsWindow.co.uk is a large site which offers all manner of products for children, from baby clothes to pushchairs and children's bedroom items. There are a lot of products on there, which can sometimes be a bit confusing, but there's a type-in search box which seems to work well. If you have the time to browse, there are some really unusual products on there, such as the bedroom wall stickers I ordered for my son (which saved us redecorating, ... ...clothing items - we bought some named pyjamas which still look as they did when they were delivered despite having been washed weekly since last year.
The customer service is generally excellent. I ordered an item and then changed my mind about the colour - I simply called them and it was changed without fuss. I've ordered from this site 3 times, and each time the items were delivered within the tim-frame stated on the site (usually within 3 days, ...

The kids window from our experience is a dreadful company. will never order from them again. 14 day delivery time quoted, so we ordered well in advance of my daughters birthday (bunk beds). 14 days came and went, no delivery. Phoned up once again to be told they will be delivered on Saturday. Waited in all day, no delivery. Called them, only to be told that I'd get a call back. Waited, no callback. called again on Monday, callback. waited, no callback. ... ...and I shouldnt have been told the beds were on the delivery, as they had run out of stock. So 3 weeks later I was finally told they had run out of stock and they didnt have any when I placed the order. I asked when they were going to tell me this to be told 'well they are coming back in March 2008 (2 months later). Cancelled the order. Its now March and they've attempted to deliver the beds to my address, even though we havent paid for them. They ...
