So having decided that I wanted to go the first thing I had to do was choose a Hotel and as we were due to stay at The Mirage last year, I decided to book it for my own trip.

The site opens with an option to view the site as an enhanced version or simply the standard HTML version. I prefer the enhanced version as it comes with short video clips and a bit of background music that can really bring the site to life. If however you just want a quick reference tool then the HTML version is much better as it goes straight to the main menu rather than play the short video clip. If the music does start to bug you it can be turned off quite easily. Each section of the site has its own music and although originally it seems quite good, it does become irritating very quickly.

Within the website is an extraordinarily detailed look into every single aspect of the Mirage hotel. This was my main reason for visiting the website to see exactly what the Hotel had to offer. I was after information on floor plans and types of room and found it all here. They have included floor plans and detailed descriptions and pictures that let you see exactly what the room will be like when you get there. Even though I didn’t book my room online It still gave me the information I was looking for to phone and book it safe in the knowledge my room would meet my requirements.

You can book your room through the website as well as well as make dinner reservations and all sorts of other services available from the hotel. The website is easy to use if you wish to book your room this way and gives you the prices and availability. I really like the option that allows you to make dinner reservations for any time during your stay. I will take advantage of this before I go as it seems to be a totally fantastic feature.

Another excellent feature the site boasts is a map of the Hotel and Casino resort. It shows where everything is around the place so you can familiarise yourself with the hotel before you go. It looks to be a massive resort with just about everything I could imagine I’d want to do. There does seem to be a lot within the hotel and that’s where the rest of the site comes in incredibly handy. There are features on every aspect of the resort.

So whether you want to know about the types of games available on the Casino floor or the numerous other attractions around the hotel this is the best website for planning your stay at The Mirage. The ease of navigation is another aspect that really impressed me about the site. The colour scheme makes it very easy on the eyes and also helps with the ease of navigation. The Cream and white background really suit’s the site, which I recommend to anyone intending to visit Vegas and stay at The Mirage. I cant wait to go later this year
