This site was set up in Feb 2000 and originally discussions centred around the demutualisation debate and the best ways of obtaining windfalls. It is now a general finance site, though demutualisation issues still feature prominently. The site has two IFAs who are able to offer general information on financial issues raised in the IFA forum. I was particularly impressed with their depth of knowledge and their helpfulness! Since joining, I have learned much about personal finance and have been able to contribute information myself.

All in all it is a close-knit community for those interested in finance and windfalls in particular. I would particularly recommend it to those interested in improving their finances / financial knowledge by the self-help route. newcomers are always made welcome by the existing members.
