since they merged with mypoints i've done very nicely thank you from themutual, with over £200 - yes £200 - in cash back from purchases (Expedia, John Lewis, Amazon, you name it) and FREE points for just clicking on links. running seraches etc, it's great !

Admittedly 3000 points for a £20 cheque can take a little while, but you can get almost 60 points PER DAY for free, every day, even more if you click through on their emails.

I opted for points, rather than shares, following the merger, although the few shares (search for London symbol TMN) I did have I have kept and are now worth over £100, so perhaps I should have stayed with it, although cash now is ALWAYS worth more that possible cash later - plus there's a fairly hefty (percentage wise) charge for selling this small value in shares.

the best way to find out how the site works is to visit the site, but, in a nutshell, you are awarded points - Each purchase you make earns you points - reach 3000 points and redeem your points for £20 of cash - (or shares - that is actual shares in the company themutual.net plc, a publicly quoted company listed on the London Stock Exchange. Today's shareprice: 64p ) for clicking through to various retailers, and (most times) buying stuff. The awards are based on a set % of spend for each retailer. the shares option is more of a long term bet, but they do seem to be performing pretty well - as I said, just check out TMN on any financial website (ie http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?d=t&s=TMN.L)

Overall, i love it, and visit every day.
