It is page after page of incredible, generally unbelievable events and stories that occur in the wonderful culture mixing pot of the USA. The site itself posts a warning to keep the little darlings away but if you enjoy incredible tales and are willing to take them with a pinch of salt and sometimes a strong stomach then pay this site a visit. ...

I always thought our American cousins had trouble with satirical humour, but this site continues to prove me wrong. It presents a series of bizarre and hilarious news-stories and columns in a believable tabloid style. Some of my favourites are Clinton declaring a week long holiday "for the Nation to get its sh*t together" and the 8lb man found inside a womans vagina. ...level of the humour make theonion.com almost universal. In fact, using this site is one of the quickest and interesting ways of getting to grips with US culture. Best of all, the contributors are not reluctant to have a laugh at the expense of their own dear country, something that is both rare and refreshing. Who says Americans don't get irony? ...
