You must worm your cat regularly. Although I don't own a cat, I have four dogs, they still need the treatment. I recommend Drontal worming tablets (just put them in a little bit of fish and Mew will take them straightaway). I buy mine from www.hyperdrug.com - so much cheaper than vets and other shops and they deliver next day normally. Also, you should use something like Frontline for fleas (which I also buy much cheaper at hyperdrug. Good luck. by Wearsidelass

We tried litter tray liners and whilst they do prevent having to constantly wash out the tray, we found our cat would pull at the plastic sheeting, with the result that it ended up everywhere. I use Frontline on my cats , and that is supposed to be used alone . However , one year when there was a big problem generally with fleas I did use this product in the house as a back up , and it didnt seem to cause any problems used in conjunction . Advantages: complete feedstuff, good fibre content, good price
Disadvantages: some of the pellets are pretty big

I'd be really careful with pellets as you have to ensure they are the ones that rabbits chew rather than just digest (the ones used for fattening them up quickly for the pot are horrendous) by thingywhatsit

Advantages: gives a wonderful "bloom" to chins coats that you don't get with cheap sand
