My short review on the astra 1.6
Review of Vauxhall Astra SXi 1.6 hatchbacki by
bryntwr10
Advantages: Smooth, slick and sexy.
Disadvantages: Reverse always clunks, fuel consumption, interior mirror falling off
Basically I wanted the 1.8 VVT, but the insurance for my age on a 1.8 VVT was 2200 (I am 18 years old)
So i decided why not take a look at the 1.6 Sxi.
So I ended up buying it , insurance costing me £1400. I didnt end up with the edsact car I wanted ...

Astra Design 1.7CDTI - A must buy hatch
Review of Vauxhall Astra 1.7 CDTi 16v Design 3dr by
Mac2008
Advantages: Value for money, performance is great, economical in fuel, tax and insurance
Disadvantages: Not for the image conscious
I recently bought this car and it is certainly a winner in my view.
I previously owned a VW Golf, 1.9 TDI, and was tempted to by another one because it was a good motor. I was recomended an Astra and thought I may as well test drive it, what harm was ...

Spacious, reliable and value for money
Review of Vauxhall Meriva Life 1.4i 16v by
richysgirl
Advantages: Comfortable, spacious, reliable and economical
Disadvantages: Couldn't turn off front passenger airbag for use with rear-facing childseat
With a baby on the way I was looking for a car that gave me plenty of room, was easy to drive but also value for money and economical. I don't think that any other car fitted my requirements as well as the Meriva.
The Meriva drives like a small car but ...

Possibly the worst car I have ever driven
Review of Vauxhall Vectra LS 1.8i estate by
JeffFromPoole
Advantages: It didn't let the rain in
Disadvantages: terrible comfort, performance and economy
The last hire car I had was a new Vectra estate. I'm afraid that, after only one day, I called Avis and begged them to take it away.
It's a very long car, and quite narrow. The boot space looks spectacularly good but when I loaded my tools and spares ...

Quick review of Vauxhall Zafira Club 1.6i
Review of Vauxhall Zafira Club 1.6i by
Blackhart
I've had a zafira 1.6 club on an O2 plate for 4 years, it had 14,000 on the clock when I bought it and now has 85,000 on it. This is superb to drive, reliable and by far the best car I've ever had. Plenty of room, various seat combinations and very economical, a full tank £60 ish will get you 400miles. Downsides: when all seats are being used there is very little room for luggage, so invest in a roofbox, also the cam belt should be changed every 20,000 miles (mine waited util 68,000 miles with no problem. I recommend this car to anyone.

Zafira - Oh how I love you. Check out my hands.
Review of Vauxhall Zafira Club 1.6i by
dhillcrest
Advantages: 7 seats, decent drive. Ours is silver.
Disadvantages: Not a lot - a bit ugly.
Pleurisy now diminishing, what say I launch into a 5-year progress report on our much respected, if not exactly loved Zafira. According to Wiki, the Zafira was named after a Hungarian porn actress called Zafira. She recently underwent breast enlargement b ...

Quick review of Vauxhall Signum Elite 2.2i 16v Direct
Review of Vauxhall Signum Elite 2.2i 16v Direct by
sbaynes
This has to be the best car on the Market - especially if you are buying it at around 1 year old.
It drives brilliantly and you get so much for your money.
Don't buy it from new as it can depreciate by 50% in its first year.

Astra good and bad
Review of Vauxhall Astra ECO4 1.7 dti by
ParkinK02
Advantages: Looks nice, if a little common
Disadvantages: Unreliable safety equipment, in my case
I was very happy with my Astra until a few days ago when I had a bad crash, the air bag didn't deploy and the seatbelt broke. The car had done 80,000 miles but had never been involved in any accidents so you would think something you could rely on would b ...

Vauxhall Frontera Sport 2.2i
Review of Vauxhall Frontera Sport 2.2i by
KRSD
Advantages: Change to 4 wheel drive on the fly, elevated driving, easy to handle
Disadvantages: Petrol consumption, lack of speed in the higher gears
I bought my Frontera for just under £ 6000 from a local dealer. We were looking for a 4x4 that handled like a car but also had 4 wheel drive capability as we live in a somewaht hilly area and were looking for the convenience of the off road driving but th ...

Review of Vauxhall Calibra 2.5 24v by

Advantages: Sleek car, heated seats, electric windows/mirrors/roof, engine types.
Disadvantages: Insurance, finding parts.

Firstly I don't really think anyone has done a Calibra that much justice in their reviews yet. I'm going to include everything I possibly could mention about Calibra's from their engine types to which is the best on fuel consumption, th ...
