I did the beach walk, it really was terrific. The only complaint I had was in September when I was there the weather was fab but the water was icy. So swimming was a bit traumatic. Had to go up to Queensland for the sort of water temp I was expecting. by Shoka

Advantages: Great range of products at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Only on once a week (Saturdays) and it can get quite busy

This was in mu long exploration of the Malls, the best of the lot! Despite being a paradise, clean, elevators, amazing feel of Victorian luxury, the prices were cheap and quality excellent - helpful, fun and you could easily spend days mooching around. Cafes, leather shops, the souvenir shops but of top quality, all under cover. Do take the advice to go by bus tho, there are bus passes for a week which cover you for unlimited travel anywhere in the greater Sydney area, about £8 for the week. The best travel method of all for the shopper is the monorail... commentary and it is the circular route right over all the centre of the shopping and cultural area. by Arbrette

Total agreement! This is the great shopaholic paradise. Mine you, as you can go underground to find one Mall and never reappear again, Sydney must lose millions of people like me. Clean everywhere, cheap, top quality goods, friendly and I never wanted to come home! by Arbrette
