I temped for Reed a few years back through one of their local High Street agencies and found them OK, though they didn't get me as much work as a few other temp agencies did - but from this review, their website sounds completely useless and seems not to be maintained or monitored properly, if at all! by thereddragon

I'm in my second year at The University of Derby - History & Sociology Joint Honours - I really love it! I get tons of choice on my modules, this year i've only had 1 compulsory out of 8! There are around 60 clubs & societies from geology to skydiving - something for everyone! Loads of opportunities to beef up your CV too & get paid for the privilege! Nice! Student life is fab - drinker or not - there is always something to do, from bands to comediens & there is always room for fancy dress. There is a fantastic support mechanism too, to help with the transition from whatever you've been doing before coming to Uni. All in all - 10/10, 100%, spot-on!

I do know that my friend. I applied to reed jobs, believe me. The recruiters at reed themself contacted me. yeah they lie about the automatic thank you. coz aparantley they update their database and they say that they send email that of 'no thank you' to those applicants who they were interested in and that that they phoned. If they fone me, which clearly they did, they were interested in my criteria. but they are just, how to say, very unprofessional! by babyh123

Terrible, I have just started GCSE Maths and have found misprints in the material. Not only that, but you can´t access a tutor straight away, you can e.mail but the standard wait is 14 days (not mentioned in their site description) and if you phone they promise to phone back within 48 hours - I have now been waiting 4 days! I have done courses before with both the Open University and the National Extension College which were both great. I only picked ICS because it had a special offer so it was much cheaper - I will have to finish this course with them but I´ll never do another - I´d rather pay the extra and have better tutorial support as when studying from home, the tutor is really important.
