I agree completely with Fairydust's comments about the book - those kind of university guides always look so appealing in a book shop - but are generally very expensive. As well as going to the public library, see if your school has a careers service with a library full of these kind of books. Alternatively, look the uni up on the internet and possibly contact some students to ask them their opinions of the place. by Eudora

I understand what you eman about it being hard, but the UCAS handbook wasn't really to check out, what the courses are like, just to see the codes and stuff and all you do is go in the idnex, look up your course and then research yourself! by GrUnGe_GaL

I remember having to trawl my way through this before. However my college had plenty of the CDs to go around so I managed to save myself from the horrors of the small fonts. Am going to go and read some of your other reviews now :) - Karl by Karnage
