Quick review of The Government and Politics of the European Union by Neill Nugent
Review of The Government and Politics of the European Union by Neill Nugent by Radpark1

Neil Nugent's ' The Government and Politics of the European Union' is perfect as an introductory book to European politics. The book is well detailed and well structured. This easy to use interface makes it useful for beginners. However the book lacks real depth and criticism of E.U structures. And those of a knowledgeable background to the EU may find it boring and repetitive.

If your child does not like to learn by "drill" only and would prefer being "taught' or 'guided" then the Ho Math and Chess teaching method perhaps will be a good alternative. Ho Math and Chess is using chess as a teaching tool to teach children math with is patents applied math and chess integrated worksheets. Ho Math and Chess invents an innovative chess teaching set so children as young as 4 years old can learn chess with no pain. Ho Math and Chess also creates the world's first math and chess integrated workbooks. Details see www.mathandchess.com.

Can't believe Haralambos is still going strong. I sat my A-level in 1997 at the age of 17. I also did fast track Sociology (2 year course into 1 year) and this is the bible. Although a lot of info and text, it's easy reading. It's back at mum and dads but like to whip it back out to read at some point. I like to think I'm more analytical now. - Kupo x by Moogiekupo
