I first tasted Efes in the Northern side of Cyprus. What a beer, clean, crisp and very refreshing. since returning to England, (after 3 years in cypus), I was at first distraught that I couldn't get it any where. I even consulted a beer, wines and spirt ...

Quick review of Namyslow Plum
Review of Namyslow Plum by
glen1606
I enjoyed a half pint of this wonderful beer in a Wetherspoons in Holborn yesterday.
It is a special beer full of fruit flavour and really it is a beer for a special occasion like Christmas with your Christmas or plum pudding.
It is not in any way a session beer for real ale followers but nevertheless a wondeful beer to experience.
Now trying to find a couple of bottles somewhere.

Quick review of Davenport Original Bitter
Review of Davenport Original Bitter by
bittersweetsue
My other half bought a bottle yesterday from an offie in Solihull. There was this dim memory of ads in the 70's about Davenports at home. So I checked out the history on the web. Its great they've revived the brand and the timing probably could not be better with more people drinking at home.
Have to say I was pretty impressed - really rounded flavour and I'm looking forward to drinking the other bottle. He may be disappointed if he thinks it'll still be here tomorrow!

Glorious brew.
Review of Badger Golden Glory by
drewish
Advantages: Unusual peach flavour makes it a bit different.
Disadvantages: Maybe not to everyone's taste.
This is a very unusual, deliciously light and refreshing beer, which is ideal for drinking on a summer's evening. At 4.5% abv it is not too strong and you can appreciate the subtle flavours and aroma without getting completely wrecked.
It is brewed by ...

Quick review of Copper Dragon - Golden Pippin
Review of Copper Dragon - Golden Pippin by
WesternKing
Copper Dragon Golden Pippin is almost definitely the best beer ever, or should I say 'the best that I have ever tasted, so far' This is proved time and time again as wherever it is sold it quickly becomes their best selling beer. On the downside though it needs to stand for at least 12 hours in the barrel or it can have a rather unpleasant aftertaste from the sediment, this can also occur at the end of the barrel or if the lines aren't cleared properly after changing the barrel but when it's on form it really is such a superb beer, light & fruity and the most drinkable beer in the world!

Quick review of Rolling Rock Extra Pale
Review of Rolling Rock Extra Pale by
abrechbi
I bought this product because I was not familiar with it. I sat down one afternoon and drank 7 of them successively. "Is this alcxohol free beer?", I recall asking myself. It's some pretty weak stuff! Aside from exercising my bladder, it simply has no "kick" to it. It's a little on the sour side and I had to take something for an acid stomach latter on. The next day I also had a slight headache. I recommend leaving this one on the shelf.
