I personally don't prefer Acer products unless they innovate! Because they do not create attractive products. For exaple see their laptop desing all of them are mostrly rounded in the corners and this is not attractive.

Mine worked fine until it failed to boot up 12 months to the day that I bought it. I have heard online of similar problems people have had with this model failing around the end of warranty time. Curry's are very reluctant to do anything about it. My local PC repair shop wouldn't touch it, as it was a mini tower and difficult to work on, so be warned. My solution is no more Acer and no more Curry's! I am spreading the word, so other people don't get caught out. Annoyed of Merseyside! borsdane59@yahoo.co.uk

Advantages: Avoid RSI, more controlled movements - especially in Photoshop, can replace your mouse!
Disadvantages: No good for gaming, better with Vista and Office 2007

not too bad its not exactly for gaming or very high performance software its worked fine for me for about 2 years now, yes it does get quite hot but i keep it on side of sofa when in use so its nottoo bad as the ventilation is kept clear, i may get a fan to runn the laptop while closed. only problem i have is windows vista its always updateing its terrible. <nothing to do with latop. not too bad i think people are useing it for the wrong reasons.
